  • OMG YOUR EPIC!

  • Amazing talent!

  • Do you do your own music in your video?

  • Great job where do u put the drawing when ur don :) ?

  • How can I be you...

  • lo unico que falla del dibujo son las manos, que no salen muy bien

  • Awesome stuff, I like your inking

  • wastage of ink

  • Very Nice!

I wish I could draw Jim Aparo's style. I think his artwork defines Batman in the comics.

  • I'll never draw as good as you. Do you have drawing lesson videos?

  • solo metti il video un po più lento ca++o

  • Can you do the BeetleBorgs? Please?

  • How do you get to know what spots need what colors and what technique, besides the high sense of proportion? Did you have a printed copy on the side or you just recalled the image you wanted to draw and color? Great job.

  • @riquappe

I had a reference picture, but you can try it even without reference. It's just about doing a lot of exercise and try different techniques...

At beginning, reference pictures are very helpful....

  • Wow! You are an artistic legend!

  • sexy

  • how do you do shading? HOW!? ive been trying to learn how for months now...i wanna learn so i can move on to bigger and better things. is it just random? like how do you decide where to shade?...me be jealous...

  • @enbuoh1234 Helps if you study how light hits an object. its never just random. Determine where you light source is coming from. For Practice put yourself in a darken room with only a small table lap. then put an object you want to draw near the lap. Study how the light cast shadows on the object. All take some art classes at your local college it would help out a lot

  • @AiruhnG im 14, the college part isnt much of an option for me. and how does looking at a table help with how the values are done on comic book drawings? ive never seen a table with that much detail...

  • @enbuoh1234 Sorry I wrote my comment wrong. What I mean is get a table lamp and use the lamp to light what you want to draw. You can move the lamp to study how light causes shadows on a subject. You can eve use a Batman action figure and draw that to practice. This is a common exercise in studying light and shadows.

  • @AiruhnG i wish i had a batman action figure D:

  • @AiruhnG

    I agree....:-)

  • Mike / Michelle?

  • @TysonCooley

    That's the secret !! :-))

Hey, could you do the joker? You should try drawing all the characters. I really want to see your joker drawings. If you do make a joker drawing, don't do Heath Ledger, do like Batman Arkham Asylum. Yet, really, really good drawing.

  • Excellent

    DC comics should hire you!

  • You paint with watercolors over the ink, the ink does not run away with the water?? How do you do? I dont get it

  • @sebitas

You need to get ink that is waterproof, then after you ink your drawing, let it dry overnight

  • that blue looks throwback ass hell, props ill send u some of my free hand work if you could give some feedback man?

  • damn!!!i m really jealous of your talent!!!!congratulations!!!μπράβο φίλε μου!!!!:)

  • Mhm... Average...nothing special...

    -Stephanie Mikayla

  • wish i could draw that gd!

    maybe i could learn lol

  • WOW. Seriously, that was amazing. I almost (foolishly) thought you were ruining your work by adding the blue. But boy, was I wrong. The end piece is terrific!

  • I'm crying tears of joy!

  • Amazing.

  • How do you speed up the video ? do you use a software for it?

  • When you started inking, was that a brush nib you were using or something else?

  • Thank you for watching? I thank you for drawing !!!

  • Nice piece!

    Jeff

  • You've just drawn my favorite Batman costume! Thanx a lot!!!!! Watching such videos is like having orgasm =D

  • Great job this helped me a lot!!! Can you give me some tips on detailing and shading, also i have some trouble making the fists.

  • What kind of paper are u using?

  • @AMORF0EVERYONE

Simple printer paper....I know I should use better paper, but as I decided to do it

I took the printer paper near to me and started to draw..:-))

  • @Apuliansoul I know this great company that sells quality paper, It's in Scranton PA, place is called Dunder Mifflin, you should check em out :-)

  • This is really good - your anatomy especially is spot on - but man, time lapse in these videos NEEDS TO GO. No slight on you, man - this is something I see a lot of in YouTube drawing vids, and it always hacks me off.

    Still - thumbs up!

  • @danmcdaid if we didn't have a time lapse then i bet this drawing would of been around 1-3 hours long?

  • @TheLilaznboi14 3 hours is stretching it a bit, I'd say, though I do see your point. But there's some great art videos which use no music, no time lapse, and they work really well. Just preference I suppose - I'd like more without music, extraneous effects, other clutter. Just seems to get in the way of the art to me.

  • @danmcdaid

I agree with you...next drawing will be in real time and you will hear only the drawing materials.....

  • @Apuliansoul Sounds great - can't wait!

  • @danmcdaid i know this is random but, i hate art teachers they TELL you what to draw. i got a C because i was trying to be creative instead of doing what she said

  • @TheLilaznboi14 - i know what you mean. i failed art classes in hs for never drawing or painting exactly as i was told. later i won an art contest - recommended by my chem teacher, after she noticed me being creative, making rapidograph drawings on my book cover.

  • @TheLilaznboi14

    You're right...took me about 2,5 hours

  • why aren't you famous yet?

  • thats crazy good

  • Perfect, I love it <3

  • Impressive work!

  • just a quick question.... I can draw very well, but when it comes to colouring however...i'm screwed lol.

I simply don't understand colour the major problem is that i don't know what markers to buy and how to use them properly.

I'm looking for smooth colour in the comic but each time i use a marker and accidentally go over the same spot that has already been coloured it darkens a tone....producing uneven colour. Is this just down to skill with the marker or am i using a wrong marker for comics.

  • @OhWhatASleight

Oh, this is very difficult to explain. You should experiment with your markers. As I wrote on my channel, the method that I used is trial and error. Maybe at beginning you have a lot of waste results. But this is really helpful to understand how to proceed the next time. Making a list of your markers (with little color spots) should help you to see which colours you need. Companies like Copic or Letraset offer complete starter sets with all colours you need for i.e. comics.

  • @Apuliansoul thanks thats really helpful, i'll take a look at those companies. i think ill just keep experimenting, ill buy decent markers to boot and see if it makes a difference. thanks mate!!!!!!

  • @OhWhatASleight I Have The Exact Same Problem I'm One Of The Most Talented Artists In My School (No Bragging Intended) But In Art I Got A C+ Because I Cant Colour!

  • @tictixtiv I suppose the trick is to just keep at it, i'm currently working on a number of projects, Tattoo designs, commercial illustration and children's illustration. Im practising with the markers, but my illustrations are coloured with watercolour or inked with a brush.

Im really hammering the practise at the moment because my illustration site and gallery are being put online as soon as possible.

  • @OhWhatASleight i personally prefer watercolor, it takes some practice but its easier to get that perfect shade of color without spending 6 bucks on a single copic marker, although as far as markers go those are my favorite, the only downside to paint is consistantly mixing the same color, but try new things and dont be afraid to make a mistake or redo something

  • @2phaced1 Just seen your art video and the graffiti style is brilliant, its actually inspired me to put my work on youtube, i just need to get my head around this video making stuff because i've never made or edited a video before except using a webcam.

i like the colours that run from some pictures and also the paint platters, they have actually given me ideas for some of my own work. brilliant work mate, keep it up.

  • @OhWhatASleight thanks, its always nice to know you've inspired someone

  • where did you learn to draw so awesome?

  • it was in lapse time ajajjaa and it was long ! jaja now if i was to see it regular speed jajaja nice work man it was an enjoyable video thanks for sharing

  • FRAKING AWSOME mate...job well done.

I wish I was that good at figures.

I will just stick to my Sci-Fi ships.

    Rob.

  • O_____O

  • CHECK OUT

    "joker zeichnen"

  • hey, how do you know which space you leave it and which one you color it?

  • @HessaGDMCR You need a real artist's eye.

  • man...even stan lee would be all WDF

  • wow

  • I must say I am good but this one kicked ass

  • i like how you put 'basic' sketch when thats amazing in itself lol ;)

  • it loks professinal

  • how long does this take for an expert to make. As a result how long does a complete magazine take ?

  • you know what u should do?? you should give me your adress and let me come over so u can teach me how do do that!!! I'll bring cookies!!! u should also do anime!! Sesshomaru from inuyasha to be spicific. that would be da bomb!!

  • when u were adding the abs i was like 'Woo!" haha

  • this is realy good you should make tutorials

  • Wow. I feel sorry for the people who drew batman in the comics. Nice job!

  • How long did it take you to draw this from start to finish?

  • Wow, that's awesome!

  • did you use aquarell or drawing ink with the brush?

  • 2:00 Smiley face underwear.

  • Quick question(s): are you using a white color pencil towards the end? Or is that a water color pencil?

  • Damn i wish I could draw that good :( epic picture!

  • @ministackerboy217 the title of the video and the fact that he drew Batman wearing blue should be a dead-giveaway.

  • This is amazing!!! I wish i could draw like that! i'm trying, and my spiderman drawing is good, but not as detailed as yours

  • Interesting technique! I like how the colored pencil makes the piece pop at the end.

  • i liked this drawing style, it was used a lot during the seventies and now in some DC series eg: "Justice"

  • Its so good it needs a background!:P

  • music?

  • @ministackerboy217

    basically comic like....

  • Thanks for sharing your techniques to design good work

  • i want this soo bad!

  • Epic!

  • @CharactersDrawer100

    Letraset Promarker...color is Blush

  • perfect drawing

  • BEST DRAW OF BATMAN

  • Batman with baby hands and a misshapen emblem in a pedestrian, totally static pose? Thumbs down. Blacks looked grey and washy (could be reflected light, though). If not, try india ink instead of markers.

  • Hey dude, I am creating a comic book character for my uni assignment and I'm a complete amateur when it comes to drawing the human form. Once you've defined the muscles in the initial stages how do you know where to shade around them, for example the black areas on the chest and the arms?

  • it must take like 2 months to make a full comic book!

  • wow that was wow it is so cool

  • Haha the pen you did the lineart with is, like, my absolute favorite when it comes to traditional inking/drawing :D

    SWEET video :) Awesome skills!

  • OMG how do u do that??

  • Brilliant! I totally wish i could draw, ink, and paint like this.how long have you been drawing?

  • firstly congratulations! awsome work! I wanted to ask you if the black marker that you used to do the first shadows is special? because it seemed to me, that this marker didn't blurred the watercolor

  • Amazing drawning! But the Sound sucks!

  • 5:00 the silver knight

  • looks more like the dark knight there's a difference ya' know the dark knight is his evil or darker side and batman is a detective read an old school batman comic more like sherlock holmes than an action comic.

  • good drawing best batman drawing i ever see :)

  • That was awesome! You've got to make a tutorial video on how you do this someday.

  • That's beautiful man! I would frame that and put it on my wall, seriously.

  • That was amazing!

  • Thats amazing :D wish i could draw like that :(

  • I like how you don't make everything PERFECTLY symmertical. I think it gives things life.

  • Hi, I have just started drawing comic book characters, mainly Robin so far but its not to great....and batman i just can't draw...could you give me some tips please?

  • Loving exceptional artists, I like the warm shadows, harking back to Eugene De Lacroix and the blue from the old ink of the thirties.

  • Hey im like a comic drawing novice hehe. i could really use some help on where to buy and what to buy for dis kinda stuff. i can tfind it on the internet and i really want to know because i can draw well i just need to know what to use to make them look good.
