holy shit it never shows the next one i had to go to your channel and browse down to make it easier, then post a comment to bitch about having to do that afterward.
@Antifaith29 Tool is deeper and is harder to get into, but trust once you do you never want to leave. They are just so melodic, spiritual, and deep. Both great bands tho
me and a friend of mine did some like deep looking into tool's meaning within lateralus and 10,000 days and was pretty interesting to find what we found out. like at the end of the song viginiti tres and mainly found connections to a major possibility in a new album or past albums. but just saying if you haven't already , make the pieces fit...
23 seconds ago APC and Tool are different but ofcourse you can hear the same influence from Maynard in APC from Tool itself. He's a brilliant vocalist and writer. They're both great bands though and can't wait to hear more; ) Always loved Tool even from when they had Opiate.

exactly what any artists wants to avoid is to have one act considered and contrasted against another, so pls refrain from the inevitable, small minded comparison between APC and Tool, they are both genuinely powerful sounds in their own right, with a central message if your ears are open and tuned right.
BTW, it seems Viginti Tres seems to have taken up residence in my house too.
just realized alternate meaning to schism, other than hole btwn nations, could it refer to the schism between tool for those four years? if u look, the lyrics make sense, danny was talking about marriage in the band, schism talks about supposed lovers? coincidence?
yea they mentioned that in the "Book of Tool" issue that came out in Revolver magazine. that concept is nothing new, some people were already aware of that.
@mlgxALCAPWNAGESFxmlg yea what it seems like Maynard is doing is making a comparison of when the catholic church split because if you google just the word "schism" it means to break apart, to his band or a marriage anything that he had experienced.
@jgordon210 Actually I'm pretty sure that in an interview Maynard said the lyrics from schism are just his interpretation of the music and they don't have any a particular meaning but he also says that you should find your own meaning in tool songs within reason.
yeah but it goes a little deeper than just having maynard onboard with these projects, he has taken music in new directions, works his fuckn ass off, and then it is gold. As mentioned in this doco, no one would have thought it would be maynard to go on and do all these great things, just shows how hard he works to get his form of art, from his brain, and into ours.
they forgot about one band apart frm them selvz that livz on today frm that era.and that is pearl jam..im sickned they didnt mention anything about them
8:38 "This is so unlike anything by Nickelback, or Filter, or Three Days Grace, or whatever..."
Yeah, it's good.
