hi disgaea fans i would like to know why ppl are so overpowered  since (an example) i was lvl 20 and on the laharl challenge day i had to battle a lvl 75 overlord (10 of them -.-) i clicked quit since it was impossible for me and then my vassals helped me.do almosd all battle go so

The vassals have some work experience from serving the previous overlord. Their levels are pretty high because of that. Meanwhile, you're still kind of recovering from your REALLY big 'nap', so yours are low in comparison. And the Overlord is...well, big, but not much else, allowing him go get destroyed by a bunch of vassals, but he still has quite some levels because he's an overlord (all of them are the same guy).

One has to wonder why the vassals didn't just kill you...

Something doesn't add up there. Maybe it was because the Overlord was such a nice guy, but remember, these are demons we're dealing with. They aren't exactly honorable.

I beat the game with Laharl lvl 75 only him. He had infact mega heal and lvl 20 swordmastery And good armor.

I found this a fun fight on the PS2 version I have. In fact, recently, I just stole not only his Testament, but his Orichalch Shield and his Celestial Armor (which turned out to be a rare one!). What's funny was the low % of stealing them...the Testament alone was only a 27% chance!

Keep in mind Lamington was lvl 110 when I fought him doing this and I used only a lvl 76 Raider, twice transmigrated.

well that is becuz they have 110-120% aptitude( Majin-Divine Majin)with all stat bonuses and have S ranking with all weapons. They also have above average start off stats...

Yea but it still this vid pisses me off. I mean of course this person was gonna own the Seraph with how over powered that Majin was.

It had been interesting if a party of appropriate lv characters were used instead. Would have made things more interesting.

well yeah they are kinda overated, but most people have either no imagination or wish to be braggarts...and I agree a level 79 Laharl (as I was upon first defeating said boss) would have been a lot more amusing, but we all know how that works...

the way into getting a majin in disgaea 1 is different from all the others.. in disgaea 2 and 3 you needed to clear the game once but in disgaea 1 you need to lvl a few certain chars to lvl 200

You can get the Cosmic Blade randomly Item World high leveled weapons (legendary preferably so you get 100 tries), by either bonus gauge or by stealing off of human units, or you can get it by high leveled regular levels (such as Beauty of Evil and Lord of Terror) randomly as well (Prinny Day increases this chance.) The Super Robo Suit can only be stolen from Baal regular(Prinny Baal doesnt have it) and Arcadia can only be obtained by either when Priere joins or if you have PSP then from Zetta.
