Actually, we're both highly experienced.
We lost one of the elevon (aileron + elevator) channels after the pre-flight check.

Either lost radio.....or newby thinking he would not need help. Happens all too often. Wish they would get help. Lots of people come and go in this hobby because of first plane crashes. Hopefully he will stick with it. Good Luck.
