I love Mr. T. There could have not have been a better role model for a kid growing up in the 80's. @C13glass - 14K "purity" is low quality gold, and would NOT sell at the market price - more like half (58.33%). If Mr. T has been seriously into gold for decades, he wouldn't own ANY 14K crap. Outside the US, 14K is looked upon as nearly a "fool's gold". What you want, at minimum, is 22K. Divide the karat by 24 to get the purity (22k/24k=91.67%). Beware of gold jewelry sold as 24K, it often may not be pure. Better still is gold bars at 96.5%... but 99.9% is of course the best.

Gold should be at least 8500 and that not including the 1.4 quadrillion derivatives that are backed by nothing, nor is that including credit which accounts for increasing the money supply also. Gold should be over 15k just like Mike Maloney shows using data and history
