I saw an interesting documentary about Twisted Sister where the rest of the band absolutely hated the direction the band took after Stay Hungry. But they went along with Dee because he was the leader and his vision got them where they were. Unfortunately Dee was wrong on this. TS went from being a bad ass rock group to this silly childish kiddie band. This song and Leader of the Pack were just awful. I still love watching it just because I'm nostalgic about it, but objectively it's pretty bad.

@robert337733 DaDa was the last album he had released before this I believe which was like 1983 or so. But as far as a comeback, I don't think Alice never really left. But with the popularity of his Trash album, it really sort of brought him back into the mainstream music scene at the time and solidified him in it ever since - not saying he was never in it before Trash, Alice is awesome.

Well, I like the song, but it seems like that's just a matter of taste. I'm not sure how it's different from any of their other songs. I do think you underestimate the power of MTV in the '80s. It didn't matter how good or bad the song was--if the video got a lot of play, that _meant_ the song was big. This video would have been very popular.

I'm really angry. I had never heard that song before. It's really good! It's as good as we're not gonna take it. And the video is great, funny and fun. Why the fuck was it banned?!
