For me, "light rail" is a tram system that operates on its own exclusive trackage seperate from the streets (in part or full). The DLR to me is more a "metro" style system, albeit a "light metro", with its metro-style third rail and high platformed stations
I dislike Docklands Light Railway anymore. I take a bus to serve all other stations. Because is badly deafeness so noise like"PONG" is loudest. I defeinely crap that DLR trains because many people has too much too suddenly shock of sound is too loudest like steady "PONG". Should warn them needs cut the sound down to made a calming sound better than always disturbed of noise. What exactly yell of it to cause anxious!
I've never been on the DLR before, but will need to use it for the first time tomorrow, as I'm performing at a boxing tournament at the Troxy in Commercial Road (piping Scottish boxers into the ring!) So thanks for your video clip - it's great, and full of character!!
This vid would be better without the loser-music and if you'd caught a sunny day so London didn't look so uncharacteristicly bleak! But a favourite journey of mine; though the Jubilee is a tempting alternative! You've gotta adore London... :D
Great Video. I've travelled so many times on the DLR and it's good to see landmarks that you know so well. Also the choice of music was great, because with it, the film already has a historical feel to it and will also make interesting viewing in the future.
Awesome, always nice when someone puts nice music to videos like this, really a good sound clip choice. Also a lovely system, I hope to visit London one day, such an interesting city.
Prontford! I couldn't agree more! An urban rail network that most cities in the world would die for, and yet all most Londoners do is moan! OK the trains may be crowded and dirty at times, but at least they're THERE! Like prontford says, in central London you're ALWAYS within walking distance of a tube, and - even further out - theres not many places more than half a mile from SOME kind of train station - that's a hell of a lot more than most cities in the UK have. Stop your wingeing.
Yh, how many cities in the UK have an underground network as wide spread as London's?? and They've got so many rail links to place in the UK and France! Ok the trains may suck and be expensive and there's reason to moan about them but the only thing you can moan about is the price of public transport, but get an oyster card

Curious comment coming from some one with no films uploaded. When this was uploaded the size limit prevented higher quality.

Yeh except when their oyster swipe card machines don't work and they give you a £25 penalty fare - boycott the DLR!

Underground, railway stations everywhere, night buses and driverless trains with stops every few hundred yards.
You spend all the time moaning about your transport system, but you really don't know you're born in London.
