Holy COW man, those VW's are EXPENSIVE!!! Whew!! I looked up "Go Westy" and looked at the prices of some of their stuff. We're talkin 40K to 60K for a used and in many cases 20 year old VW Bus/Vanagon. I about fell out'a my chair. I was considering buying one of those myself...until I looked at the price. I don't see how they carry THAT kind of value, but apparent;y they do. 40 to 60K...I'm absolutely blown away by that.

My wife's parents live in Morro Bay. We've been there often. Her dad designed a lot of the buildings in the area. Jack Lalanne lived in Morro Bay until his recent death. He drove a corvette.

Trying to expatriate my family in the States at my expense and having them turn me down was really sad.  I wanted to sponsor them and establish them over here in Europe with a new life.
