@Crazystickman972 They still fight with their arms and legs cut off, but no enemy can survive having more than one limb gone. If an enemy is missing a limb, you can press Y next to them to finish them, earning you a nice karma bonus. Karma is the equivalent of DMC's style points in this game.

I dunno, but the 1st Ninja Gaiden had some pretty UN-Epic moments with the camera, but it was still an awesome game!

its quite a good game but its controller-smashingly frustrating at times because the difficulty is so hardcore. controls are fine as long as you can find a good flow and the camera is a team player most of the time, so if you can break through the brick wall of actually playing then you should be fine.

the "sigma" version of 2 has already been announced for the PS3. Its the same game as the 360 but with upgraded graphics; people want to see the difference between the two systems, with Ninja Gaiden 2; Sigma, the differences will be made clear.

You'll have to thank Tomonobu Itagaki for that, he doesn't like the PS3 and therefore no normal NG2 version was made for the PS3. Tecmo later decided, since NG1S was apperantly liked, to take another direct and make a Sigma version for the PS3, too and as the first one it is exclusive to the PS3 as the normal version are exclusive to the X-Box Systems. All because one man, the head honcho there, didn't like the PS3.

Im getting an Xbox 360 next week, and im gonna buy this game in an instant, a couple of question tho if you may, 1. i played NG1 on the xbox 1 when i was a kid, i couldnt complete it, is NG2 too hard? is it worth buying, will i complete it? 2. Whats the best weapon for a beginner??, and finally 3. with the dragon sword whats the attack where u jump, and blink forward and almost cut all of their heads off? it seems usefull.

1) Difficulty wise, sorry, its about the same, this time though, the CPU remains consistent, it doesn't shift from "retarded" to "impossible" on a dime.

2) The best weapon at the start of the game is the Lunar staff, its the best weapon for crowd control. However when fighting Genshin, or in enclosed spaces, use the Katana. With the Katana don't bother with the pussy hits; become a heavy attack specialist.

3) I believe its called the "wind" something, not sure.

last bit of advice; learn to dodge, and blocking? If you're gonna block, you have to perfect the timing of the parry and counter. If you parry and counter, you can bring down 10 enemies in the space of 2 seconds if you time it correctly.

You hold down the block button, and then push an attack button while still holding down the block button the MOMENT an enemy's weapon is about to strike Ryu. Then, releasing the block button, press the same attack button again, preferably the strong attack button. If timed correctly, you can kill 10 enemies in 2 seconds. Its hard as hell to pull off though; unlike most action titles, in Ninja Gaiden II, the A.I. is SERIOUSLY out for blood.

When I say "its out for blood," I mean it dude; in Ninja Gaiden II, the enemy A.I. is OUT FOR BLOOD. It doesn't mess around.

Well I think it might be a stalemate. They both have extremely powerful weapons at there disposal. Ryu might be a better physical fighter but because of Dante's half demon nature he is darn near invincible. So I dont know....

you forget, that in Devil May Cry 3, one of Dante's powers, the one where he says "stand still" allows him to move at blazing fast speed. Ryu would get his ass kicked dude; physically Dante is much stronger, and as a demon, he's imune to magic.  All demons are, don't you read occult stuff? A sorcerer can summon them, and control them, but, all other kinds of magic doesn't work on them, magic to harm them for instance.

Inuyasha's a HANYO, that is a common misunderstanding, NOT a demon. Also, the dude who shot Dante in the anime had the power of someone nearly as powerful as the demon king, THAT, is what it takes to seriously injure Dante. In Inuyasha, what they call "demons" are in fact nature entities in Japanese folklore, NOT demons. Although more powerful than humans (depending on rank), demons are far, far more powerful.

Bought Ninja Gaiden II the other day myself; good game, but Ryu is still no match for Dante. Having fought Genshin just now, who is weak by demon standards, i can tell you right off the bat, Dante would DESTROY Ryu. Dante's in a completely different league buddy; Ryu's kind of a stud far as fictional heroes go but he's still no match for Dante.

dude, from all the zombie horror I've seen, not to mention all the Dead Rising I've played, fuckers go down with a slug to the head! In your average DMC game, Dante pumps what, like 100 slugs (at least) into a "weak" demon? Also, Devil Hunter Lady uses a FUCKING ROCKET LAUNCHER. Good game; but, Dante remains way out of Ryu's league.

u are using gameplay mechanics though,if i remember correctly dante kills demons in one shot in the cutscenes so what he fights are not all that strong.Ryu is way outta dantes league,dante dosent even use a sword properly hes all about being stylish that dosent help u win a fight against someone superior like ryu.

I never said they were making stuff up; the demons die in the cut scenes because prior to them, Dante had already messed them up with his sword, and they were only a shot away from death. Also, dude, I've beaten every DMC game on Dante Must Die, both God of Wars in Titan Mode, and I will probably beat this game on hardest difficulty so stop with the lectures! Dante's stronger dude; you can't compare an unpurified human to a demon.

Well in Ninja Gaiden and Ninja Gaiden Black there where 50 golden scarabs scattered throughout the game. When you would turn them in to the blacksmith guy, depending on how many you gave him, you would get extra items.
