This is a great example of this anthem. I am doing this exact arrangement with my 6,7 and 8th Grade Combined Choirs. I am so thankful to have this excellent example to share with them. I love that it's ADULTS!!! Thank you for your awesome video.
My chorus class is singing this!IT RULES!!!!!Im in the honors chorus and we went to this festival and we BEAT EVERY SINGLE CHOIR THERE!WE RULE!!!!!My class is using this song for our spring consert!
This Rhythm of Life is arranged specifically for choirs, and the words have been changed so it makes sense without knowing what's going on in the plot. Unfortunately, with this arrangement you're also not allowed to assign the characters or make it look like a scene out of Sweet Charity because you haven't paid for the rights for the musical just the song... it's not so much complicated as it is a pain, though it's understandable.
because the Sweet Charity version is disliked by churches "and the voice said daddy there's a million pidgeons, waiting to be hooked on new religions" Tell me what church would sing that.
Not to be rude to this choir, but do you see how old they are? I'm sure they're just a stone's throw from the age where they start Alzheimer screenings on an annual basis (to say the least).
Oh, and thank you for not attempting the top C (I think it's a C; it might be an E) so many choir get someone to try it, who fails, sings it really flat and ruins the ending :(
we did this sone in 7th grade on our choir tour, and my class won the tour thing and there were classes in high school and we did better casue we got the highest score
We are children and we have to memorise this... they gets words...

I love that one Alto! She's the only one that looks like she's tingling from the Rhythm of Life :)

I don't think they practiced very much...
This song in particular is a lot more interesting when your hands aren't tied to the sheet music.

A Unitarian Universalist church would.

No, they didn't. They sang "and the voice said neighbor there's a million reasons, why you should be glad in all for seasons."
read carefully before jumping in....

Can't understand why choirs cannot learn words!
Younger choirs can sing without words ... just a suggestion!

we've got three guys that actually sing, but one of them sings loud enough to be three, and he balances it out for this song.
