That joke was just bad taste and didnt need to b said especially as most of the nation was morning for a guy who was just full of life and who was loved by all. He will certainly and severely be missed, but never forgotten. I remember how I first got turned on to him. Back when his show "Croc Hunter" made it's first appearance, I noticed how he handled the snakes. A way I'd never seen anyone do it before. So careful with the animals. I knew he was something special. What was so amazing to me is not just how much he loved animals, but how he also extended the same passion towards people. That is rare.
He was always Steve Irwin, never anyone or anything else. On or off tv. Even with his status, he never changed. He put his money where his heart was, you didn't see him living up in an estate with all these fancy things. Nope, he poured it all into conservation.
He was a true gem, an amazing soul and I can honestly say that no one on this earth has touched my life the way he has. Even before his death, I thought of him everytime I picked up any sort of reptile or amphibian. Now I think of him whenever I see anything living. I feel like I've lost a close friend.

I was,& still am,so depressed when I heard Steve died.Normally when a celeb dies it doesn't affect me in the least.But Steve wasn't some actor who just plays make believe on the bis screen or an athelete who just plays a game.He really did something meaningful with his life.

That joke was just bad taste and didnt need to b said especially as most of the nation was morning for a guy who was just full of life and who was loved by all. He will certainly and severely be missed, but never forgotten. I remember how I first got turned on to him. Back when his show "Croc Hunter" made it's first appearance, I noticed how he handled the snakes. A way I'd never seen anyone do it before. So careful with the animals. I knew he was something special. What was so amazing to me is not just how much he loved animals, but how he also extended the same passion towards people. That is rare.

He was a true gem, an amazing soul and I can honestly say that no one on this earth has touched my life the way he has. Even before his death, I thought of him everytime I picked up any sort of reptile or amphibian. Now I think of him whenever I see anything living. I feel like I've lost a close friend.
