If I've ever seen the equivalent of a haymaker punch to pull out a victory from the jaws of defeat in Starcraft, that was it. Brilliant play by Shutle in the end to win it, GG.

I still liked the commentary but it's pretty obvious you guys aren't even C- players and still naive about how close a SC game is.
I agree that the commentators didn't see it coming, but your assessment is missing a couple of things:
This is a silly and meaningless filler game before the pro league starts, and Cholera and Rise were using that opportunity to give a silly cast. I personally was also thinking fantasy was in the lead given how dominant his map control seemed to be, but that was just my lack of insight.
If you don't think Cholera and Rise know what they're talking about, it means you haven't seen much of them.
Just as a reminder, no one saw that arbiter come into play until it was already in the base. The observer missed it too. So its kinda hard for them to talk about it when they couldn't see it at all.
It's not like they're getting paid for this, I don't watch these commentaries for strategic reason's exclusively, but for fun. I enjoy Starcraft and love to hear the humor the commentators bring to this, the greates of E-sports.
Yes fantasy continued to do some good harass but he failed to win the large army battles and never built up an army advantage, and in fact you could see shuttle's army was larger than fantasy's before shuttle pushed out and cleared away all the mines. Fantasy stayed behind in tech as well without getting vessels or EMP, this was REALLY significant. and I only saw shuttle lose 1 arbiter.

ok i watched it again and figured out what's going on. fantasy fell behind on macro for quite a bit. 17:00 was the unit cluster being recalled. the rest of the cluster went to 11 o'clock. fantasy didn't have enough tanks to defend against the two-prong.

i replayed the video and I can see the forces disappearing from the map when they get recalled, but I can't for the life of me see how the arbiter gets there or where it comes from. It really is cloaked from all observers. It happened so quickly! Geez what an amaizng game, havent seen such a twist in a long time. I loved it!
The victor's macro was pretty awesome I guess, he managed to pump units to use in those deciding attacks in the end even with being harrassed almost constantly!
These have been some of the funnest commentaries I have ever seen, they almost remind me of mystery science theater 3000 kind of feel. Please do more of these once and awhile!

While Fantasy seemed to be in the lead because he was doing all of the harassment and attacking I don't think he ever came back from the economic disadvantage of having such a late expansion. After he lost the lower left position the game was over as he had such a insubstantial army. GG nonetheless.
dragoons were probably not meant to be the staple unit for toss. flavor-wise it just doesn't make sense that these venerable disabled veterans in their super wheelchairs are sent to attract tank fire while the zealots flank them. maybe that's why they got rid of them in SC2.
speaking of which, as a toss and zerg player, all the staples against terran are gone: arbiters, defilers, scourges, tier 2 lurkers :( and terran still have their bloody tanks. ah well keep adapting.
where can we download the replay? this is crazy... we didn't see the recall, and the observers didn't show us shuttle/arbiter's the macro rally. it felt like he just pulled those units out of his ass.
it was incredibly satisfying to watch as a toss player though. it's good to see terran players paying the price for spending all their apm on those annoying, annoying, annoying vultures.
