Not bad music, but the people in this band are truly degenerate human beings. They recently played at my club. Besides treating the staff like they are slaves, they insulted people by using homophobic slurs. Do not support this band.

Oh and one last thing before I go, I hope all of you crusties realize that this was one big ploy by both bands. Every crusty is looking up Akron Family videos to post nonsense, and now every indie loving "hipster" has been exposed to MitB. This story was even posted on Pitchfork!!!! PITCHFORK, the indie hipster Bible! Now crust is surely to become the next big thing in indie, which means it will eventually become the next big thing in the mainstream.

@ReechReynolds 'indie' means that you are a independently owned and operated band. Therefore crust is already 'indie'.

Like many of the people posting here, I was brought to Akron/Family from the MiTB articles--doesn't mean that anyone is going to buy their album. I don't see this as a ploy--I think Eric Wood is just pissed that such a mellow band stole one of their designs.

Oh that's what indie means thanks for letting me know! Sarcasm aside, my point was simply that now everybody who is into any kind of indie music, whether it's some obscure crust or some obscure folk, now know who MitB is. Anyway, this whole thing was an overreaction. I used to even listen to crust a lot until it finally dawned on me that most of them were just lame Discharge and Amebix rip offs. A few exceptions being crusty doom metal or grindcore.

The first time I heard this song was the same week we had to put my dog down, she was young, only six years old. I had been planning to take her on a camping trip with me. We never got to do that but this song reminds me of all the amazing times I had with her. I miss you Boo and think about you every day.
