hey everyone this story i was going for sonny and will meets someone else ..and sonny is going to be will's best friend that's what i saw in that magineze and the STUPID GUY IS GOING TO HAVE A "connetion with will' it's over....
I think if so far we haven't seen sparks between Sonny and Will it's bc both refused to let the sparks fly. I think it's perfect. Now Tyler comes along and Will will 'try out' his gayness with him (Tyler), to make sure his feelings are what he thinks they are. Then Tyler will get annoying and they realise they have nothing in common and slowly (not too slowly hopefully) but surely, Sonny and Will realise there's been a connection between them, they both repressed successfully, but not anymore.
No actually what I think will happen is that Will will find the courage to come out, a little forced by Tyler's presence and maybe Ty having a go at Will, then he (Will) will think he is falling for Ty when in reality all it was all this time, is Will desperately trying to 'chocke' his own feelings towards Sonny (and possibly vice versa). That's why we haven't seen any 'sparks' w/ Sonny. But it's definitively Sonny's coming to town that awoke Will's state of numbness.. or something of that sort.
Did Will's mom really have "sex" with EJ? From my memory, Will's mom and EJ were kissing passionately and 'dry-humping', and stopped there.

Having watched this several times now, I have to say, "Melanie" is really good. Molly Burnett has a great and unexpected delivery and she's always playing so much, while doing so little. Great job!
Chandler was so good in his scenes with Marlena. I felt so bad for him. It may have not been the secret everyone was hoping for but I loved it anyway. I could feel his relief at finally sharing what he saw with someone. I think his acting is getting better and better. I think I am falling in love with him.

Tyler is so crushing on Will, but Will isn't ready for that, yet. That's why he left the party. 2012 is going to be good.

He's sorting his feelings out & realising who he is. I think the casting of Tyler also indicates he's not just a day player. I think they intend him to be Will's 1st.

@winsboy "Too gay" is a rather funny expression. Tyler is definitely far more out than Will, & there is the rule: Never date anyone more or less out than yourself! I don't think the Will/Sonny pairing people are so eager for will happen soon, if at all. Freddie has said that Sonny is playing the field and they've cast a known actor who's done soaps, primetime & film, which suggests he's not leaving terribly soon.

@Ontir I agree with your Will/Sonny initial friendship assessment. The reason "too gay" was in quotes is that that would be the way a straight guy might typically express his feelings about a guy who was more obviously gay. While certainly not closeted Sonny, for example, seems far less the Pride Day float bikini-clad swinger Tyler conjures up for me. But that's only by comparison. Tyler's leering looks stripping Will naked is his most obvious trait and though confused, Will seems to likes that.
That was good because I did not see that twist coming, although I would have like for him to come out this is a much better plot twist because it not all about him being yet another angry and depressed gay character on a soap (Way to write Days)

Just wanted to add that if DOOL gives this storyline justice, Will and Sonny may very well be my favorite soap couple ever. They are gorgeous guys (moreso than Nuke, since I was never attracted to Luke, and moreso than KISH since Fish wasn't my cup of tea) and the best part is that they are so adorably nice and amicable. They are going to romance the hell outta each other that's forsure. Can't wait!
I am getting so excited for Will and Sonny's relationship to start. Young love is so romantic and reminds me of watching my first gay storyline (Nuke). I love how Sonny and Tyler were treating Will like their gay friend (Tyler saving him a dance and Sonny wanting him to go back inside to dance). Their gaydars are spot on ;P The past two interactions with Will and Sonny have been amazing though. The future is looking bright.

Still, my parents let me drink AND smoke pot when I was underage; well, they didn't necessarily approve, but they knew I was going to do it anyways so they just got used to it. The way they are making this big spectacle out of Will's sexuality is anti-gay. Instead of his sexuality being just a fact they have teased it for almost a year and exploited homosexuality to death. I didnt complain before. But this time their conversation clearly had everything to do with his "confused feelings". The writers must be homophobic jerks who are amused by disrespecting their gay audience.
The next few weeks can only show just how much Chandler has evolved with his portrayal of Will and I expect him to be excellent. If he continues to improve as he has, he can and should get the Emmy for best newcomer/young actor in a daytime soap. No one else can match him now. Days has really improved over the past few weeks and the characters of Will, Marlena, Rafe, Sammi, and others could very well make this the best soap in daytime.
Since I have been mostly critical with Chandler (Will) and his sometime goofy expressions... I now feel that Chandler is getting better and growing along with his character of Will. Yesterday talking to Marlena, who I also have changed my view of, Will knocked it out of the park. Such intense scenes between these two yesterday and today were nothing short of amazing. Chandler can now show that he has the capability to really deliver the pain and frustration of his character.
We're being teased, but I kind of like it, The scenes between Marlena and Will are fantastic, and I think Melanie and Sonny are really cool. It's all about the buildup...
I like what someone else wrote --that these things don't necessarily follow a cookie-cutter script. I'm enjoying the ride. And Will has really cute ears.
@DinahWest And you probably lack a knowledge of American soap opera becuz the last four coming out stories on televison were briliiant, why becuz the writers took the time to let the viewers into the minds and perspectives of these individuals and to see what their pain as they struggled to come to terms with who they were and none of them were placed into storylines in which their sexuality was the main plot point.

What people don't seem to grasp is that A. there is no choice. and B. despite there being no choice, there is still a long, difficult road to accepting it as a reality. Will needs to come out to himself first. He thinks that Sami's cheating is causing his inner turmoil. He's going to find out it runs a lot deeper. He will to need to accept that, before he is able to come out to anyone else. I don't think Sami is going to take his coming out well. Marlena, Sonny, Melanie and Chad will be his support system. Tyler is so crushing on Will, but Will isn't ready for that, yet. That's why he left the party. 2012 is going to be good.

@Ontir Though certainly in no way to most of us, I think Tyler is a bit "too gay" for Will & it scares him to find himself staring just a bit too long at Tyler. Will seems to find Tyler attractive in a way he doesn't yet understand. Tyler seems to be a one-night-stand kind of guy & I think Sonny would protect Will from such a scenario. @winsboy "Too gay" is a rather funny expression. Tyler is definitely far more out than Will, & there is the rule: Never date anyone more or less out than yourself! I don't think the Will/Sonny pairing people are so eager for will happen soon, if at all. Freddie has said that Sonny is playing the field and they've cast a known actor who's done soaps, primetime & film, which suggests he's not leaving terribly soon.
I see Will & Sonny as friends, for now @ least.

@Ontir I agree with your Will/Sonny initial friendship assessment. The reason "too gay" was in quotes is that that would be the way a straight guy might typically express his feelings about a guy who was more obviously gay. While certainly not closeted Sonny, for example, seems far less the Pride Day float bikini-clad swinger Tyler conjures up for me. But that's only by comparison. Tyler's leering looks stripping Will naked is his most obvious trait and though confused, Will seems to likes that.

Just wanted to add that if DOOL gives this storyline justice, Will and Sonny may very well be my favorite soap couple ever. They are gorgeous guys (moreso than Nuke, since I was never attracted to Luke, and moreso than KISH since Fish wasn't my cup of tea) and the best part is that they are so adorably nice and amicable. They are going to romance the hell outta each other that's forsure. Can't wait!

I am getting so excited for Will and Sonny's relationship to start. Young love is so romantic and reminds me of watching my first gay storyline (Nuke). I love how Sonny and Tyler were treating Will like their gay friend (Tyler saving him a dance and Sonny wanting him to go back inside to dance). Their gaydars are spot on ;P The past two interactions with Will and Sonny have been amazing though. The future is looking bright.

oh dear... EJ knows something. you can tell from the way he is looking at Will. that was twice he caught Will in a conversation and twice he has had a weird expression on his face. I am glad Will told someone about Sami because now i get to see how he is conflicted about his sexuality with it being muddled up with his views on cheating. by the way writers. glad to see you doing a relatively decent job but a bit of care and some speed will make it awesome. but it wouldn't be soapy enough i guess.

Still, my parents let me drink AND smoke pot when I was underage; well, they didn't necessarily approve, but they knew I was going to do it anyways so they just got used to it. Even if they were underage, it's not that weird. Parents are stupid :P.

The next few weeks can only show just how much Chandler has evolved with his portrayal of Will and I expect him to be excellent. If he continues to improve as he has, he can and should get the Emmy for best newcomer/young actor in a daytime soap. No one else can match him now. Days has really improved over the past few weeks and the characters of Will, Marlena, Rafe, Sammi, and others could very well make this the best soap in daytime.

Since I have been mostly critical with Chandler (Will) and his sometime goofy expressions... I now feel that Chandler is getting better and growing along with his character of Will. Yesterday talking to Marlena, who I also have changed my view of, Will knocked it out of the park. Such intense scenes between these two yesterday and today were nothing short of amazing. Chandler can now show that he has the capability to really deliver the pain and frustration of his character.

I like what someone else wrote --that these things don't necessarily follow a cookie-cutter script. I'm enjoying the ride. And Will has really cute ears.

@DinahWest And you probably lack a knowledge of American soap opera becuz the last four coming out stories on televison were briliiant, why becuz the writers took the time to let the viewers into the minds and perspectives of these individuals and to see what their pain as they struggled to come to terms with who they were and none of them were placed into storylines in which their sexuality was the main plot point.

What people don't seem to grasp is that A. there is no choice. and B. despite there being no choice, there is still a long, difficult road to accepting it as a reality. External issues are nothing compared to the internal struggle that we go through.

Yeah, he's mad at her for cheating, but it just cements to him how self involved she is/can be, and that maybe if she wasn't, she would be noticing what *he's* been going through. I think he believes that if she were a better mom, she would notice what is happening to him just like his grandmother does. The women closest to him noticed - Marlena and Gabby, but his mom doesn't because she's too involved with her own drama. Makes him angrier.

My view is based on what I expected & from reading the comments. Apparently, your view is based on having been fooled a few times. I've watched more German, French, Dutch & British soaps than American. It appears that American soaps have the least respect for their viewers and themselves.
