Whenever I make my skin, I follow this, make the exact same thing except I put it in skin to public multiplayer not promod/modwarfare, and it doesnt apply, it just says CANNOT OPEN IMAGE etc.

and when I try to do it to promod/modwarfare, it says the same, and if i do get it to work by removing mtl thing infront before skinning, then skinning with it off, it just ignores it and looks default. WHAT DO

@Thomeaz the iwi file, from the tutorials that i've seen, they require the gun file that looks like "weapon_(name of weapon)_c.iwi" but i cant find one with the c for the m40a3, just the weapon_m40a3.iwi and weapon_m40a3_acog.iwi

No you can't, but if you want a to make a montage you can use the /record (demoname) command to record a demo. When you download the cod4 player and lauch it, you can activate a mod into your gameplay and record with your own skin instead of the default skins.
