Molly's pretty, but Joanne is a million times more talented. seriously, there is no way Molly could have gotten close to pulling this video off. half Molly's gags are also copied from Joanne FYI, only she does a second rate job of repeating them.

@Lazzzyeye I think it is unfair to say that Molly is not talented. Talent is difficult to judge. It's true that Joanne had that quirkiness and perhaps incredible verbal skills. But the fact that Molly has a following indicates that her more homely style is liked and appreciated. I would argue that this is a talent. I would also say that for her age (now 22), she did an incredible job of filling up the massive vacuum left by Joanne and even making it her own.

@rizwan1983 hate to nitpick, but I didn't say that Molly has -no- talent, only that compared to Joanne she's nothing special. her appeal rests almost entirely on her appearance, and I believe the comments section of rocketboom videos (often disturbingly) confirms this. she frequently mucks up lines, and is visibly uncomfortable/unfamiliar with a lot of the material. Joanne probably had a script writer too, but her delivery was never anything less than convincing.

@Lazzzyeye I respect your opinion, but disagree. I think it's just Molly's fun/intentional style. I've seen her other (pre-Rocketboom stuff) she seems creative, playful and confident. As to her appeal, yes many people think she's hot. I've met more than a few girls who where "hot" but after interacting, quickly become uninteresting. Molly's LONG TIME following is proof of her interesting character. With that being said, Joanne IS the reason I subscribed in the first place. Miss her.
