I drive this metropolitan highway almost everyday.SO much traffic in morning and evening, and if accidents happens, loooooong line of cars and trucks and you could spend hours in jamming.

complete sentence is something like "日本nihonのnoインフラinhuraはwa素晴らしいs­ubarasiiですdesu".

japanese word for "infrastructure" is "in-hura" or "インフラ", a shortened version of an english original.

i suppose we japanese people are a bit too lazy (?) to invent or find an exact japanese word for "infrastructure"

Nihon-jin namaketa dewa arimasen, demo nihon-go yowai desu. Japanese are not lazy, but their language is weak. The reason is because its hard to express foreign words and names in Nihon-go. For a Nihon-jin, learning a gaikoku no-go (foreign language) is muzukashii (difficult). Sorry, but Japanese language is weak. There are a lot of letters that don't exist in this language. Sumimasen again.

Also, don't worry about Japanese language not being very sophisticated. Japanese language is a lot easier to learn for a gaijin. So, keeping that in mind, Be Happy. Japanese is a lot easier as compared to Cantonese and Mandarin. This is the reason why I went for Japanese instead of Chuugoku-go.

I thought America is the World Power currently. Although, China overtook Japan as the second largest economy, its GDP per capita is a fraction of Japan's. It's still a developing country. Yeah, China has provided some technical expertise for Mumbai Metro. But Japan's infrastructure is Amazing; its marvellous.

I can Import my Holden Commodore to Japan, finally a country that drives on the same side as Australia. Japan is so awesome and so surreal in contrast to Australia. a few historical and political nasties between the countries put me off a little though.

One good thing I've seen in Japanese ( and I must say this ) is that they also provide their expertise to foreign countries. They are recently helping us in Delhi-Mumbai industrial corridor. This project is one of it's kind and a humongous project. So, thanks to Japanese engineers for that.

Excellent country, marvellous people Japan is a really a fascination to watch. Especially expressways of Tokyo are rocking, I being a Pakistani love Japan. I dont know how they manage these expressways so so narrow areas through the buildings and other obstacles. Well only a Japanese can answer this.

No, Japanese don't drive anything like Americans (I'm American, btw). Since Japan drives on the left the fast lane is the right lane. Slower traffic is on the left while fast traffic are passing on the right.

@prazi86 you should start with learning to speak it. first understand the sentence structure and then try to learn katakana. katakana is a way of writing the words the way you say them. hiragana and kanji are much harder, they have no connection with the speech.
