An actual STARGATE/PORTAL-THING was caught on film in New Mexico. The footage can be found within the short-film entitled "SUDDEN PORTHOLE", which is parked at the PROJECT CAMELOT YouTube page (it's under the George Noory video).
I'm not selling anything…I'm just trying to spread the word about the unseen-dimensions we find ourselves embedded in.
My BLOG contains peripheral data regarding the movie and is where I reply to the "debunkers" (use search words "SAM ZURICK" & "BLOG"). THANKS!!
Bedlam in Goliath is one of my favourite albums, not only by the Mars Volta but also of any band I've ever heard. Everything about every song is just stunning. Plus there's the fact that the lyrics are from ghosts. Its just so chilling.
4:47 is probably one of my favourite TMV moments: "There's a place where this depth charge ignites. In this place where the soul has no purpose." Amazing.
*!NEAK!* I gotta say my favorite part is "No fence will hold this sentient" but I also like the whole beginning and "time is a plague there's no time in this place" and "There is no miracle my life's your miracle" and "I wrap myself around your very question, through the blisters of confinement" this next one is my second fav "to rebuild the pigment case that i have left" just awesome stuff. Somethimes I can't help but to listen to the entire song all over again I LOVE THIS SONG!
What if we find what tongue ties double windsor = my favorite lyric of all time. I get the strangest, most incredible sensation when I hear it. Its a combination of the music, vocal delivery, and what I was going through at the time I heard the record and listened to it nonstop, late 2007 was all Bedlam baby.
fucking annoyed, i bought this album but i've some how lost the disc, i have the cover but don't know where the fuck the disc is. to make matters worse i recently reformatted and forgot to back up my mp3 version of it. have to come to youtube to listen to it and the sound quality isn't as good.
The Bedlam will ALWAYS be my favourite Volta album. It's one of my favourite musical albums period.
De-loused, whilst a good album, i haven't given it the time it deserves. Everytime i listen it just won't grip me like Bedlam does....so i'm waiting for that day where it just 'clicks'.
@xheartshapebox I was kind of the opposite of you. I got completely wrapped in De-Loused, but never really gave Bedlam the time until several months ago; now this is probably my second favorite album from them. It's so cinematic - I really want to write a screenplay based on the story.
I like only a couple songs off their new album... Frances the Mute was honestly the best. Yes, "true devotees" will claim that nothing can top Deloused. But Frances is simply more cohesive and artistically mature as an album. Amputechture, in my opinion, is alright, even though many fans consider it the outcast of TMV albums. I am rather fond of Bedlam, and its electric, chaotic, alien sounds. But seriously? Why are all these new fans gravitating towards Octahedron? It was so bad!
@Anonymous122131 octahedron was still a good album. tmv said it themselves that it was the closest to mainstream or pop they were willing to approach.. maybe thats why you consider it bad compared to the other albums
I don't get it... I know "Since We've Been Wrong" and "Televators" are great songs, that should deserve a lot of views... but this is what defines the Mars Volta... Below 100k views. It's frightening, really... especially since this is one of their best songs.
@magicyte.. even if they did sit and combined all the drugs available to human kind, they write and make music no one else has the balls to. theyr SICK, but im guessin u'll never understand that.. bitch lol
Bedlam is great. I was not really expecting it nor to this day have I COMPLETELY revealed its potential. It takes at least two years for their records to really really really make sense for me I guess.
I love how musically they sound so diverse. I love the metal-style drums, but...Idk, so weird, but so cool. They balance progressiveness nice with regular music
vocals are insane, thomas is always on time and cutting edge, the bassist is always with him having fun this whole band to me is complete and ready for anything this band is just talented in all directions
maybe too talented... i hate when they get 'noisy'... then again 'eriatarka' is one of my favorite songs of all time, and they actually let the instruments breathe on that one.
i think they're too scared of sounding like a rock band. for example, the solo at 1:30 is my favorite part of the song... you never hear stuff like that, makes him sound like the next carlos santana. but i think allowing solos by omar and pridgen would be too mainstream for tmv.
I think they can't get talented enough, really- they're all based on emotion and energy, so technique or spacey shit will never kill them. They get noisy sure, but they're not meshuggah and mostly I love those bits for connecting the songs and narratives. I do agree on those guitar parts though! 1:30 is great. Very much like in Teflon, 2:55. I like that one even more (:
@steez8 All TMZ does is purposely play outside of scales and key structure. I'm guessing most people don't play like that cause they haven't combined crack, herion, and DMT into one sitting.
@magicyte i don't know if you think its easy to play outside of scales and key structures for 100+ minute album runtimes and make money by selling a shitload of albums, but i can assure u sir its not. if it was more people would be doing it.
uh.. Thomas Pridgen doesn't use double bass pedal. it's not even set up on his drumset that he uses with Mars Volta - besides - how would he keep his hi-hat closed if he would use one? Please, get your facts straight. I think it's only cool that Thomas can get those double and triple hits out single foot and in the end it still ends up sounding more tasteful than most of typical bass drum patterns out there.
yeah, I knew that - Pridgen doesn't use one though. Actually he's well known for his ability to do a lot with one kick and I think I've never seen him with a set that has even a double pedal.
which is a matter of taste. =) and I'm not pointing out that it's somehow wrong to like Jon better. It's just seems odd to whine about the kick line on Ouroboros, since the same stuff has been done similarry by Jon. Now the tempo was higher and somehow it creates this image for me that the problem for a lot of people is that think it's double pedal and that's somehow makes the MUSIC somehow worse? It's not even like some boring doublebass bombard like on some death metal songs.
TMV turns out unbelievable records with monotonous regularity, and each one requires multiple listens to appreciate the true genius of the music. They are consistently misunderstood and unfairly bashed by narrow-minded critics; we are fortunate that Cedric, Omar, and the entire TMV crew choose their fans over their fame.
