I'm so dying to try this now. I've wanted to for years as well. I gave up most meats a year ago, and now eat only turkey and fish, but working on getting down to just fish but it's taking time. So I'm gonna have to go to Trader Joes now. THANKS for this video!

Yes, i kind of stopped doing hauls. First, i haven't been buying any beauty products in the past several months. The next thing i will probably buy is the MAC Hello Kitty collection in February 2009. Just because i love Hello Kitty!

And I got tired of all the whiners leaving negative comments about what a spoiled rich bitch I am. It can't be further from the truth, but it still pisses me off & makes me think "why even bother making videos anymore!?"

A pescetarian eats fish along with a vegetarian type diet. A true vegetarian does not eat fish or animal flesh whatsoever, but still eats cheese, butter, milk.

Many people eat fish & tell everyone they are vegetarians, but honestly they are NOT vegetarian. They are just confused ;p LOL

I substitute coconut milk in all recipes calling for milk or cream! I even make my mac & cheese with it! Ohh it's SO yummy like that! LOL (I'll eat cheese, but plain old cow's milk - yuck! haha)

Any baking i do, i use coconut milk.

Sometimes you can taste a hint of coconut flavor, but i like it.

I have always wondered how those Tofurkey's were. I will have to try one. I am not vegan but I am into trying to eat healthy. Have you ever tried those morningstar farms breakfast sausage links? they are vegan and they taste awesome! :)

How would you cook/prepare tofu? I've grown to resent it, because I somehow always end up with tofu that reminds me of cooked eraser, both in texture and taste(or so I'd imagine - haven't tried cooking eraser before!lol)

I don't know, i don't buy/cook plain tofu. There are plenty of recipes online for you to check out.

The only time i get tofu is in Chinese food, and it's deep fried ;p LOL

I love tofu, i just never seem to buy it or cook with it at home.

Thanksgiving is really bringing me down this year because of the whole Turkey pardoning (such a lovely way to put it, right? Gah) stuff. I know I'm just being a dork but... eh.

I've never had tofurky. I don't think we can get it in Australia anyway. The whole gravy, stuffing, etc sounds awesome. Even if I did eat meat I still would never touch giblets, haha. :P

Have you tried the regular like sandwich tofurky? I'm vegetarian and I see it in a local co-op near me, but I'm kinda afraid to try it because it's like gray. But that roast dinner looked really good! I wish I had had one for tomorrow!

Hooray! I've never had tofurky -- I've had several mock-meats over the years & usually, I find they're tastey! Sadly, I can't get it here (in Nowhere,France) but, I do get dried soyprotien at the local organic store. You soak it so it plumps up & then fry, sautée, or bake ("veggie crumble" is made from soy protien.)

We're going to have mushrooms stuffed w/ mashed taters & veggie gravy w/soyprotien, & a side of white-wine sautéed mixed veggies. (Raisin spice cake for desert, oh yeah!)

I am Pescetarian too! (fish, but no other meat). I tried Tofurkey the year before last. It took forever to cook that darn thing and I was so hungry so I ate some of it cold and I swear it was even better cold! lol... I loved it though, but it was a little pricey for just me to eat it. My mom fixes me shrimp now every thanksgiving instead of turkey. :-P

I could totally be the same way and have the only meat I eat be fish. (Isn't the technical name pescatarian?) I love meat substitutes! Sometimes we will make chili with the Boca crumbles and not even tell my dad it isn't beef and he won't even know the difference!
