I say play DJ Hero a few times, before knocking it. The controls actually feel a bit more natural in comparison to other series, and I know its just another game, but it really appeals to my self worth when pretending to be a DJ, LOL. I really like the music selection too.

Also, if anyone wants this game completely free-the whole setup, see my video. I hacked the retail offer for this game through url combo trick, and got myself 3 full setups. trick works, but hurry.
