I love your speech!!!! :o) Stop feeling guilty, yeahhhh! Thank you very much :o) I would like more video like that (breathing, meditation...) so quiet, so good :o)
she is right there are misconceptions someone told my uncle he should meditate to help his migraines go away he said he wasnt doin it out of ignorance cause of the bible but he will take pain pills everyday someone tell me if that aint fucked up
@mossberg451 you could show this to your uncle:) Jesus: My Word for you today is Silence. Meditate in silence. Be still and silent, silence not only your voice, but your mind and your senses, find Me in stillness. I dwell in Silence and my veil is gently removed through the eyes of the Holy Spirit. Pray to the Holy Spirit and humbly wait for Him to guide you in your meditation. Meditate on my Passion, reflect on my attributes, contemplate my Divinity.
im going to be going to college in Chicago and am going threw all kinds of hectic finacial stuff and emotionally i feel like im abandoning my friends and leaving all that i know behind. I could never sleep right at night..until i started meditating. ive been able to sleep peacefully and go to work calm and energized soo thank you for you part...everything happens for a reason im ready to begin my next 4 years a new man...mabey ill even try yoga lol thanks again and have a wonderful Christmas!
One of my problems with meditating and simply observing the breath, is my complete inability to observe the breath without on some level trying to instinctively control it. If you have any ideas or words of support Ester, I would love to hear from you. Otherwise, thankyou so much for your videos. I am susbcribing and checking out your webpage :o)
Great Christmas thought: allow yourself to be bored. It's the best time of the year to get bored, so you'd better get the best out of it. But seriously, good speech.
As a child I had asthma and the struggle for breath makes it almost impossible to concentrate on anything else but also makes it impossible not to find rest in your mind - to meditate in other words. I grew over asthma but meditate to fall asleep and get me through the daily rush hour.
i have a question....i love to listen to books on tape....if i sit and listen to those would that be considered a form of meditation? because i certainly feel much calmer when i have listen to them for 20-30 mins.....
Hi, Esther, it's been so nice to watch another video of yours. I can literally feel the mettá radiating out of my notebooks screen. Well, I always feel it when watching your videos.
You are doing so well encouraging us to meditate. Thank you.Have a beautiful time in Africa.
I have been meditating now for 2 months. I am up to one hour a day and it is the joy of my day...my appointment with the universe. :-) I do this first thing in the morning and the rest of the day is spent in energetic acceptance. Thank you Esther for this for this encouraging introduction!
Hope you have a wonderful, relaxing time in South Africa! Thanks for sharing your time, good words, and wonderful on-line yoga with all of us to enjoy! Have an enjoyable holiday!
I have never been bored meditating. If you keep your attention focused on your breath, regardless of how much your mind is racing--just bring it back to your breath no matter how many times you have to do this, then you will never be bored. Boredom comes when you have given up and want to be somewhere else. This is not meditating.
If one considers Christmas a Christian observance, then replacing the word Christ with an X negates the meaning. Of course if one considers Christmas to merely be an excuse to go shopping then I suppose replacing the word Christ with an X would be appropriate.
But Christmas has nothing to do with Christ. It's a pagan festival, celebrating the birth of the Sun, after its southern descent during Winter. The Church adopted Christmas to facilitate easier pagan conversions to Christianity.
I love your speech!!!! :o) Stop feeling guilty, yeahhhh! Thank you very much :o) I would like more video like that (breathing, meditation...) so quiet, so good :o)

Love your videos. It's Christmas, not X-mas.

Thanks, you are right.

So, what's the difference? Doesn't X-mas mean Christmas?

If one considers Christmas a Christian observance, then replacing the word Christ with an X negates the meaning. Of course if one considers Christmas to merely be an excuse to go shopping then I suppose replacing the word Christ with an X would be appropriate.
