I met a 7 year old at the cycle race track three years ago and his mum wanted to hire bikes for them both, the guy on duty said no as it was closing soon, I asked her why she did not cycle over and she told me Alex was autistic and couldn't safely manage the journey. I told the guy that we had to have a bike as I was not prepared to let the boy down, he had what looked like a good time and his mum told me he learned to ride by himself .
