Right now Russia does not have the Field-able military to take on the US. Russia navy is to small and not enough aircraft carriers. Russian migs cant even win in Africa. Russian SSN and SLBM's are not modern enough in numbers. Russian air force has to many problems to name. T-80 and t-90 tanks cant compete with the Abram's engagement range and armour. Except for sp sams where does Russia lead?

USA weapons have beaten Russian arms every-time they have met. The stinger itself destroyed more Russian Helicopters and Aircraft. F-15 has a combat record that no Russian aircraft can match. Abrams vs T-72 or T-80 and Abrams won every time. AK-47 is nice, but now Russia fields the Ak-74! I will take an M-4 myself. Russian's have no f-117 or B-2 stealth type combat aircraft. Russian Blackjack bombers have to many issues to name. USA can field up to a maximum of 12 aircraft carriers, Russian 1!

Right now Russia does not have the Field-able military to take on the US. Russia navy is to small and not enough aircraft carriers. Russian migs cant even win in Africa. Russian SSN and SLBM's are not modern enough in numbers. Russian air force has to many problems to name. T-80 and t-90 tanks cant compete with the Abram's engagement range and armour. Except for sp sams where does Russia lead?

Truth be told, Russia Only has One aircraft carrier; not enough! Its submarines fleet, as well as the surface fleet has not recovered from years of neglect. Which is also true with Russia's Air force! F-15 or Abrams both have better combat records then anything Russian.

USA weapons have beaten Russian arms every-time they have met. The stinger itself destroyed more Russian Helicopters and Aircraft. F-15 has a combat record that no Russian aircraft can match. Abrams vs T-72 or T-80 and Abrams won every time. AK-47 is nice, but now Russia fields the Ak-74! I will take an M-4 myself. Russian's have no f-117 or B-2 stealth type combat aircraft. Russian Blackjack bombers have to many issues to name. USA can field up to a maximum of 12 aircraft carriers, Russian 1!

north vietnam had an intagrated air-defense system, radar,fighters,SAMs, AAA, literally built by the russians. Hanoi was the most heavily defended airspace in the world at that time('67-'74) its no wonder with our politics at the time y we lost so many aircraft. The Russians during the afgan war faced a rag-tag militia. the only air defense the afhanies had was an occasional .50 or the occasional 37mm zues gun... not to mention a few shoulder launched anti-aircraft missles. m16 is a better rifle

US military don't have tech to built such choppers, no wonder we use foreign 4x4 - Humvee don't fit into any chopper in our inventory. At close range combat fought by our soldiers lately - M16 accuracy is irrelevant. Yet, it has by far weaker round thus less stopping power. It ricochets where AK round goes trough.

@123A1231 5.56 is far more accurate. While it is true a .308 is in my opinion a better round, 7.62x39 just doesnt have the accuracy I need. Nonetheless I have 4500 rds of ak ammo in my closet because it is cheap. Also, realize, that 5.56 travels so hot and fast that it often penetrates steel that an ak will not.
