  • Ah ... Another hat to add to that website "The many hats of Geoffrey Rush"

  • LMAO I love that he's just hanging out drinking (what appears to be) a beer while they're interviewing him :)

  • Bran nue secun han

  • Nice seeing the aboriginal people finally painted in a positive way.

  • all young buddas end up unda da condom tree

  • This movie was great! I think it's great for Aussie culture -- this will become an Aussie Classic like Muriel's Wedding & Pricilla. The actors were great in all their roles -- as always, fantastic job Geoffrey Rush!

  • He's a talented actor. Topic closed

  • wow... that didn't sound like an ungrounded statment... Australia has a terrible history, and recent events have tarnished race relations, but Australians are generally not racist people, and race tends not to be a major issue in the australian culture.

  • AUSTRLIAN MOVIE !

  • Spelt spelled.....you people have lost the plot. This about Jeoffrey's interview.

Jeff ( if I may call you that ) you are just the best Aussie actor for Soooo long. I will see this fun movie, I saw the stage play and it was so good I never forgot it. I hope you and the cast had fun making it......Australia ROCKS....YEEEEE

  • wow you guys are so tough bagging a great actor on the net - i bet my life you'll never be as talented as he is at anything. sit down and shut up

  • did he say 'grog humour'...oh shit..

  • Quote? "Ooooh this is so now and PC. Besides it pays the bills."

  • I wish I could've experienced the play! Love to see a stage revival!

The film was so much fun though!

  • Coming from an Australian.

This is boring as bat shit.

  • its spelt wrong because it is written like a abbo would write it lol

  • @TheDudeFromOz it is not necessarily as an 'abbo' would write it my friend, it is Aussie slang....that is how we say it. It is not a 'brand new day' it's a 'bran neu dae' so g'day.

  • No Australia with an education past year 4 will say it like it's spelled. This is a bullshit movie, the titles spelling is f****ed, and the storyline is complete moronic dribble.

  • @iMaxrahi it is ' say it like it's spelt 'not spelled. Obviously year4 is still to come for you. You have a lot of living and a lot of learning to do yet. The only moronic dribble that I have seen so far associated with this movie is what you have just written.

  • @dingodancer

It looks like you're in fact the moron here. Don't you have any concept of the disparities between American and UK English?

'Spelt' and 'Spelled' are UK and American respectively, albeit neither can be considered incorrect and is generally held up to personal preference. Thus in my opinion it's American counterpart 'spelled' is phonetically superior and as such I choose it over and above said alternative.

  • @dingodancer

    your denotes ownership

    you're is you are

    goddamn

  • @LizzziMerjanen yep you own that one

  • @LizziMerjanen

This man should in no way represent the general Australian populace - a mere anomaly!

  • @ imaxrahi..........SPELLED I think you meant SPELT.....oh and by the way you went and paid to watch the movie!!???....omg are you a moron or what!!??....I rest my case as you made yourself look totally STUPID...lol

  • I'm only responding because you're so daft it's laughable. 'Spelled' and 'spelt' are alternative spellings, American and UK respectively - can't you read my former post?

    Illiterate, yes.

As for having paid to watch the movie, well that is just conjecture on your half. Where did I mention that at all?

Don't ever become a lawyer and 'rest you case' like you have now.

  • BIG WORDS must have googled them huh???......lol....you had it SPELT!!! wrong and dont come back and reply with your American or Uk Grammer....the english language that was FORCED upon the rest of the WORLD because you weren't intelligent enough to learn native tongue's....once again I rest MY case!!....by the way I don't like lawyers prefer Doctors thankyou very much.....hope I SPELT it out for you correct

  • What are you talking about 'BIG WORDS'? Also, you spelled grammar 'grammer' you illiterate moron (as I've said before). Furthermore what are you even talking about with your little bit on English being forced on the world?

In closing, you're an idiot and have no idea what it means to 'rest your case'. Get educated buddy.

  • OMG I aint ur buddy!!!.....I must of hit a nerve with you huh...lol...becoz I wasnt the first one to correct u on ur SPELLED word...yet it must have been my educated comment that disturbed you!!......do you know the meaning GET THE HELL OVER IT ALREADY or perhaps GET A LIFE MORON...!!!...lol..

  • Yes, your comment is the epitome of an educated response. I mean all this 'becoz', 'u', 'ur', 'aint' - jeeze you've intellectually disabled me.

Sorry but you're just another short bus window licker coming in not knowing shit about different variations of English.

  • oh for fuck sake, stop fighting. someone used the incorrect word, so what?!? we all make mistakes. stop being complete grammar nazi's and shut up and watch the goddamn interview, its what its there for.

  • Just for the record, both spelled and spelt are correct. It just depends on which form of English you prefer to use or which is the dominant form in your country. (eg: American vs Australian/British English) Not having a go at anyone, just thought I'd set the record straight.

  • why is everyone being such a grammer nazi? its the internet for goodness sake! and as for the title of the film, who cares?! its a freakin awesome movie, lets just leave it at that.

  • did they intend to spell the movie name wrong?

  • yes

  • It's not wrong.

  • Nope, it's "Strine". :-)

  • I loved the show very much, it was sooooo good, Jeff you are an amazing actor, XXXX

  • his drinking a tooheys extra dry!!!

  • @Grogan1988

And? You want some amerikan beer there?

  • @ParArdua Why would you think that? He's just saying and he's not even American..

  • @ParArdua
