I highly recomment for everyone to everyone to play the Wii version. Because, in my opinion, is one of the best Wii games to use the Wiimote: Move the Wiimote like to move the flashlight. Plus, from what I'm seeing here the PSP version has a terrible framerate :/.

Still great game, no one wants to miss it ^_^

@Foxtailfox Without a moment's hesitation, Shattered Memories is better. Easily the best Silent Hill game since 3. Both are worth playing though if you have an interest in the Silent hill series.

Man.  They really cheated with the shadows in this game. They don't actually cast shadows on objects. It's just black polygons floating in the air.

@JustShootIm Pretty much no reason to recommend this over the Wii. There's a lot of extra graphic effects on the wii, especially with the ice, and there's pretty much no slowdown. There's also extra features such as the flashlight control and the use of the wiimote speaker as a cell phone. Of course, you can't play your wii on a road trip or on the bus.

@JustShootIm Np. I really enjoyed this game. Only thing is, there is a glitch. If you take pictures with your cell phone in the game and try to save the picture, it'll delete your save file. You can take pictures, and you need to for some puzzles, but just don't save them.

@1997LCN Actually on the smaller screen, especially with the 3000's enhanced colouring, the graphics are similar to origins (i must add that in the game i have, the graphics are way less sharp and blocky around the edges). I much prefer this game to Origins, as it retains the feeling of uneasiness, keeps you on the edge of your seat and urges you to keep playing without throwing enemies at you every two seconds. Plus this game comes in at a little cheaper from what i've seen :)

@MrWiiarefun this definitely. it's not exactly scary, but it's freaky and a more immersive experience, you start genuinely wanting to survive. origins has a so-so story and isn't scary remotely, and tbh the main reason you'd play that style with the third-person is for scares.

This is a brilliant game and it really shows the power of the psp, trust me its not scary, its has intense chase moments, the environment is haunting but apart from that its a great adventure from start to finish, i would reccomend this game to anyone XD

@existentialiste832 This game is amazing, easily my favorite video game. I've played over a hundred hours of it, even though the game's only about eight hours long if you beat it once. The game wastes no time in getting to good stuff, the game is constantly very good. It reminds me a bit of Portal, you can beat it in one sitting(if you're me and absolutely obsessed with the game) and it doesn't have any filler content. If my sister didn't break my Wii WITH SHSM IN IT I'd have played 200 hours;_;

I wish they'd make more games like this instead of going back to SH1 and SH3's style, but it looks like SH8 is actually gonna have tons of cerebral mindgamey stuff; I only have a Wii, PC, PSP, 3DS and DS, and the game's probably only going to release on 360 and PS3; makes me really sad. :<
