partialy you have to pay for cards but you CAN get them for free have luck and in your starting deck you will find a card that someone wants to buy and sell it!! i did it that way and i now have 3 non starter cards!!! :DDD

when you make a character you get a starter deck and some fire,shadow,nature, and frost decks and you earn more cards through winning the campaign-ish mode and this game ROCKS its more addicting than WoW and more fun too lol :P i have been beta testing it and it is the best game EVER cause i cant seem to put it down

I can see why you feel that way, but apparently it has Co-Op single player =P Which, if I get this game, is where I'll spend 90% of my time I think... so even if you are a little worse than most people, it still should be fun.

I changed my opinion of this game about two months ago... nothing about it is "FTW"... I always thought EA sucked, not the games so much as the company itself. Their tech support for instance is laughably bad. Either way, the fact that you HAVE to buy VIRTUAL cards with REAL money in order to be ANY competition in the game makes me sick. They're a bunch of greedy bastards.

You start off with 3000 points and I was trading alot and now I almost have every card in the game 186/200 and haven't bought points It's really easy ^^

and I'm sorry if you don't like this game anymore I still think it's a blast to play with friends ^^

Alright, I'll explain the whole WoW thing all in one comment if I can. WoW was kickass at first, pre-bc. Alot of people got it because of that, but the main reason they have that many subscribers today is because people stay on because friends, or guilds. The game is slowly dieing. And WAR is NOTHING like WoW. And Warhammer is what Blizzard took so many ideas from, Warhammer has been around since the 80's MANY MANY mmo's used that and made spin-offs. WoW is slowly dieing. Understand?
