@clintcastle i would suggest you check out the cubase courses on our website rather than this one. a course advisor would be happy to help if you want to talk more about it. you can reach him on luke [at] pointblanklondon [dot] com or +44 (0) 20 7729 4884
I'm looking everywhere on the site for those Logic Projects you promised me. But they are just not there. I registered and I just can't find the Projects.
@dsmaster92 Hi there, you need to actually be enrolled on the electro house course to have access to the Logic projects. For more information about enrolling our course advisor is always happy to help. You can reach him on +44 (0) 20 7729 4884 or luke [at] pointblanklondon [dot] com
@whywaitforit If you look at our channel you will see we give over 100 production tutorials away for free.
With regards to your suggestion that we slow down your creativity - we get many quotes such as the one below from satisfied students which suggest otherwise:
"The course advanced my skills probably 2 years in the space of 4 weeks" (Maxwell Underwood)
If you are prepared to invest in knowledge then you will reap the benefits.
@pointblankonline Who's he kidding that music knowledge shoud be free. When did we become entitled to such? It's like saying that baseball is an American past time so no player should ever be paid to play.
I think you guys do awesome work. I haven't taken your course yet but I'm dying to. The free stuff on your page looks amazing and very easy to understand. There's so much I'll never understand unless somebody just shows me.
@pointblankonline The way i see it is that your a business like any other, you provide a service. If you can earn a living doing something your good at and love, then do it, not many ppl out there can say they truely love their work. keep up the good work, i hope i can afford to boost my knowledge somewhen in the future :)
@DarkKillar931 I don't quite see your point. Our students DO make their own music, we just teach the techniques which enable them to maximise the potential of their chosen software. As I mentioned in the response to dubravajacentar, if you listen to the tunes that our students are making you will hear that each one has its own unique flavour. Check out the student podcasts to see what I mean at
Could you recommend any good free synth vst's for logic? Im looking for something that is easy to install, has LFO, modulation, all that jazz. Basically a better version of es2 would be brilliant, I need to synthesise chordal electro house lead synths, in a similar style to dennis de laat or deadmau5. cheers
@dubravajecentar We do not make rules on the courses. We demonstrate production techniques that are popular within a specific genre and then how to experiment further with synthesis to carve out your own sound. We never say you MUST use this or that technique in your track... it is totally up to the student. Some choose to mix these techniques with different genres like minimal, hiphop, even folk! Take a listen to our electro podcast, a mix of entirely student tracks, to hear for yourself.
@SimplisticSalvatioNI Very simply 32 bit will give you better definition. It's a lot more complex than that and trying to explain it here isn't ideal. I suggest that you try googling it or search in tweakheadz.. Sorry I can't post a link here.
@pointblankonline sorry but you never go out 32 bit for real :-) is just inside of your software production ,when you go out the final mix in 32 he sounds like 24 bit ... or i'm wrong?
@SimplisticSalvatioNI Totally understand. Unfortunately we can only provide courses in which there is popular interest and the current trend seems to be towards Logic and Ableton. Cubase is a great piece of software and as I said previously, with the new version being released I would imagine interest to increase so keep an eye out and maybe we can cater for you in the future.
@SimplisticSalvatioNI We're finding more and more people making the change from Cubase to Logic or Ableton, maybe with the release of the new version things may change. We're constantly looking to develop new courses so stay tuned and you just might get your wish.
@lorkakor2 Hi, this song was produced by one of our students and has not been released as of yet. Take a look at our Soundcloud page for more great tunes like this one.

Music knowledge should be free. Charging people for online classes just slows down all of our creativity collectively.
