If u wanna play it correctly, just hold it more upright, play only one string at a time, and only use your pointer finger. The only other finger u use is your second finger at the end of a progression.

hmm um i don't like it :-? If i listen to sitar i always feel something which is hard to explain. I start to dream if i listen to it and even the indian dance songs which are fast played too let me dream but that was just kinda crap. I think the sitar sounds always good nomather what you play so many people think that was a great job but....where's the feeling? :(. C'mon man why do you play it like a guitar or something?!
