tips: detangle ur hair when u have conditioner in it and put it into sections. wash it out in sections. dry it in sections. since i'm in 9th grade, them kids can't handle an afro (especially going from long and striaght to "cloudy")so i usually wear cute scarves and decorate them. this might have been given but, ur flat iron will NOT work in your hair anymore. sometimes i also get braids in my hair. corn rows, extention braids w/e. hope this helped since it's a bigggg azzed comment

you can actually comb them out with LOTS of conditioner, water, and patience! I did that (it took me 5 days), but I didn't like so I shaved my head and now I LOVE it!

lol! I cut my relaxed hair off three years ago...and for a while there I had no idea what to do with it or how to style it. If you have thick curly hair like mine I suggest that you keep it conditioned well.  I use this fantastic leave in conditioner called Cantu. I basically just wash it, condition it in the shower...make sure to comb the conditioner through with a wide tooth comb....rinse (use a hair mask at least once every 2 wks), towel dry, apply a little oil on the scalp, and work...
