can anyone tell me what are the big differences between Tajiks from Tajikistan and Afghan Tajiks? My mother is Russian from Dushanbe and I simply love the country, never before met such nice and kind people, and they are openminded, love to have fun and don't mind drinking alcohol. I can't believe all the bad things people tell me about afghanistan if they are the same as the Tajiks on the other side of the border.

My mam is also etnic tajiek from Afghanistan, Many years ago was Tajiekestan Afghanistan Oezbekistan enz 1 country => Khorasan. The most difference is, the afghan tajiek are very aggressive And tajiks from Tajiekestan are quiet people

I tell you what is the difference between Tajiks of Afghanistan and Tajiks of Tajikistan.

Tajiks of Afghanistan were the ones who RAPED the Soviets in Afg.

Tajiks of Afghanistan are the ones who have never been defeated.

We defeated Alexander the Small, Chengiz, the British Empire, The Russians, and the Taliban.(=Pakistanis, Arabs, Chechenians, plus all kinds of muslim-extremists)

- Africans were slaves for 400 years

- South-Americans were slaves of Spaniards and Portuguese

- India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka = slaves of British Empire

- Uzbekistan, Tajikistan, Kazakistan, Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan and Qirgizistan = slaves of Russians

- Australia, New Zealand = conquered by British Empire

Afghans Have NEVER Been Defeated.

yes, I understood. if you didn't fight Russians than your women today wouldn't have been wearing burka's, would go to school  and Afghanistan wouldn't be one of the poorest and most backwards countries in the world, and the main drug producer in the world.

I dont have anything against any-one. I DO NOT hate any-one, but I dont like foreigners in my country at all.

No Taraki and Brezhnev and No Karzai, No Bush, No Obama and NO Osama.

A Free Secular country like Turkey. No invaders. Just Afghans.

by the way my mother is really from Dushanbe, half Russian half German. And she miss it a lot.

I like Tajikistan, my grandmother still lives there. I can only speak Russian, everyone understands it, but I really want to learn Tajik language and culture.

My grandmother doesn't feel like invader or colonialist or something. Se is just a citizen living a very ordinary life next to her Tajik/Uzbek/Russian neighbours.
