  • I'm amazed it didn't spool you with that small of a reel... Either way great catch.

  • That's still a puppy u got,anyhow ... Talking bout monster?... 700 lbs + or over 1000 that's really something :D

  • you want big blue fin tuna? try 600+lb out of the waters around New Zealand.

  • this video if fuckin hilarious, I'm glad someone gets excited still!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to many lame "calm" videos out there! fuck yeh guys!!!!! good job on charlie :)

  • Haha, holy shit the comments at the end of the video hahaha, "Why are we yelling?" LOOK AT THIS THING! hahha, congratulations man

  • can anybody help me out i got the new 760 penn spinning reel and i was wandeing what kind of fish can it handle and is it a strong real or did i just waste my money thanks for the help

  • Benchmade, the 760 can handle many things but if you are expecting it to handle a 267 lbs Tuna then no that will not do it...

  • top fish top fight

  • HAHAHA. Peter, it's all good bro. People who still uses words such as "slope" obviously are product of bad parental upbringing so there's really no need to take them seriously. Uneducated people are exactly that, and unless they try it out for themselves they'll never know, lol.

  • andy dont let these players hate

  • lol where does it state giants are 310? Giants actually go by length not pounds.

They are using long rods because they cast poppers, not troll 130s with big 12inch squid spreaders

  • This is the new run and gun style for tuna. It's not your regular trolling boat rods. All fish were caught using poppers so you really need to be able to cast far. The rods are all special top self stuff made specifically for this type of fishing. Give it a shot, its really fun. The majority of Tuna fisherman don't even have the opportunity to do their own hook set. In this you do and much more. Especially on Spin gear.

  • @AJfishing Well done. Good to see you had fun. Did you weigh the fish ? We get them at about 150kg in southern Australia and at 150kg they look a lot bigger than your one ?

  • cool video guys and good job on getting that fish in but i agree that rod is better suited to surf casting and not fighting from a boat

  • precioso animal

  • Wouldn't it be much more easier and less effort needed if you guys used a Van Staal reel instead of a Stella? I also think that the rod you used is a little too long for fishing on a boat.

  • Stella has a much lower gear ratio and its a much more smoother and best constructed reel than VS.

  • wow..u guys made a mess of that fish....never swam him or anything...dont u guys know how to properly swim and bleed fish....such a shame...no wonder they are endangered when u take them that small.....get a real job will ya...

  • where is a great white when you need one?

  • 76" 267lbs. Giant Blue Fin tuna on a Stella 6000FA and Smith 80P/35, I still can't believe we got it in the boat.

  • Are you kidding, that's simply amazing!!! It still brings chills every time I see it. Thanks for putting it up bro.
