Listen up guys, get the Complex mod for this game, it's awesome! Colonizing and attacking planets, more subsystems etc... Just what HW2 should've been in the first place
That is, while admittedly quite tricky, an immensely fun level, just ripping up an entire vagyr outpost with but a handful of ships. I say handful, I obviously mean battlecruisers, dreadnaughts, ion cannon frigats, pulsars, interceptors, platforms, etc. What could be more satisfying than taking that massive fleet and mauling the hell out of anythign else that moves? :D
it was tough to get throu it, so man destroyers. i just held my fleet in one postion and kept pounding them all out, and after that, i had to deal hith the battle cruisers,i hit the missle batteries and moved around that trinity canon
one of the best games ever released..from homeworld thru cataclysm to homeworld2 the storyline drags U kickin and screamin into the game ...... Brilliant
Yes, they do. Okay it DOES sound better than Halo's synth soundtrack (though Halo has few more interesting melodies) but when you're doing a FPS or any other direct action game, ya need to know that the player will concentrate on the surroundings first. Where as in RTS games the music is the main point on the audiotrack.
that's my favorite one.. but the cello doesn't sound as amazing as I remember them. If anyone has this in high quality and wouldn't mind sharing I'd be grateful.
if you want to improve the audio type &fmt=18 at the end of the address in the address bar. (Note: I think this even works on videos that don't have a HQ button)
you can extract them. use FinalBIG (not every version works) on Music.big. the music is in AIFR format, so you'll need the corresponding winamp plugin (relic gave us one).
Hey, I looked it up, and of course it's never as easy as a simple download, so could you recommend a good encoder/decoder program to me? How difficult will it be to get the hang of? How much will it cost? Thanks
@IcyNami Hey man get the Youtube music converter its WAY easier then going through all of that searching to find out how to then downloading like 3 programs just to extract it from the untouchable music files
Frigate under attack, frigate under attack ... guidance failure we're losing control, frigate lost, frigate under attack.

This reminds me starkly of mission 12.

Though try to understand with your little fanboy brain that FPS and RTS require quite a different kind of soundtracks.

Not really.

Try adding &fmt=18 to the end of the web adress. That should enable high quality audio
Kamikazedruen 3 years ago 4
Lots of people say it increases both the audio and image quality, but personally I really think the audio deteriorates when using this feature.
No doubt that the picture quality is an improvement though.
