Hey- First of all, yes, schools still teach about WWII and totalitarianism. We, of course, cannot feel exactly how it is, but us kids do realize that we should appreciate how the US is. HOWEVER, I feel that there is never an end to progress. Texas, you are saying that we should stop complaining about current conditions. If previous generations "stopped complaining" about their condition there would have been no progress. . . .

I hope people start to understand what the American government is doing to its own people and the world, it seems that we are all to into our own worlds to really care about politics but yet so many people live in democracy without really knowing what it is or don't care about the subject.

the difference is important. in a democracy all the voting citizens have a say. elections are by pure popular vote. in OUR goverment the people we elect to represent us have the say in the form of a delegate vote... and in some cases they have no real responsibility to their constituency (the peopel who elected then)... so considering that just how much voice do you think you really have in our goverment? we dont live in a TRUE democracy. too many people forget that.

yeah, everyone knows that. but a true democracy, like how they did it in ancient greece (putting stones in a jar) can not work for 300,000,000 people. its just not feasible. i agree with you though, don't get me wrong, as of right now, neither i, or anyone can think of a way for a real universal suffrage type government to exist. maybe one day.

you say its not feasible.... yet the mail gets delivered to those 300,000,000 people every day. do you really think its that terribly hard to design a system that allows every one to express their vote? it isn't. The hard part is that here are so many decisions to be made that we cant effectively vote on all of them and still live our lives. so we have representatives to make decisions for us and they consult us on the biggies. my issue is with how much responsibility they have to their voters.

The stalker soldier plotline is beginning to get a bit annoying, but hopefully it will all link up to bigger themes. Apart from that, great series of vids so far, and I am suprised that the series as a whole hasn't had more views. Keep them coming, they are a highlight if my Monday.
