Mercedes is a lot better off than Lincoln right now. But blame Ford. They are the ones who are taking cheap Ford vehicles and then slightly dressing them up and selling them as luxury cars.

At least in the 90's Lincoln was constantly at the top of the luxury brands in sales.

actually, thanks for letting me know, didn't know lincoln has invented this, not really innovative per say, but the problem is this, if an innovation is being placed on a brand hardly sells, then there is no points or benefits or the big impact to the car

if your brand could only sell 100 a year for example, only 100 of those dviers benefit from the innovation, so....

I din't like this automatic tailgait! it looks like the trunk just use the gravity to close! in the Lesux RX and in the Acura MDX the trunk is completely automatic and the trunk close close softly!

yeah. on this tailgate it does look like gravity closing it the the and the part that makes the tailgate stay up is keeping it from slamming like a door and breaking something. But i go the the mercedes dealer a lot (not for car problems) and i use those things a lot and once its closed there is a latch that closes it more. So its sort of like the lexus and acura
