  • The "reset" button for older (30+ yrs) models of water heaters is built right into the button which directs it to "ON" "PILOT" & "OFF", to activate it, you just have to push the actual turning knob in and listen for the gas coming out when sticking your match or lighter inside.

    My pilot light went off today and I've never seen the heater before in my life. Pretty much froze my ass off (my heater is in the garage, its winter right now) for 10 mins trying to find that damn reset button!!!
