Well I can safely say Skrillex didnt kill the scene for me anyway, nor did he ruin Dubstep for me. For people who hate Skrillex, just something to say.
1. If it wasn't for him, dubstep wouldn't get the attention it does now, meaning artists wouldn't win money, meaning they can't keep producing, meaning the genre would be dead.
2. People call him a sellout, but in the end he just made his fuckin awesome clusterfuck of Dubstep, Electro, and House. It works, as he got famous, and he doesn't collaborates with shitty artists, mostly he does shit with 12th Planet, underground producer.

@crps3ESA Im going to respond to your first point, Dubstep would not die it scares me to think that some people think of Skrillex as the savior of a genre that was derived in Croydon, London. You think that the genre would die out? It wouldn't not with people like Skream, Benga, Artwork, Kode-9 making music they love and as in Skream and Bengas case since they were around 15 when they created (or helped) the genre become a success.
