Sometimes at the beginning of doing a painting I use a colour palette, also I try and work out back to front. This was at the beginning of my career and this was the first major one I had done. Looking back now I realise that that effort was not needed. However with hindsight I realise that there is no need to do it. To be honest looking back it is a little embarrassing. This was all done within photoshop cs2
