This movie had beautiful story line backed by unmatched performance by the legendary actors......and aided by such melodious songs, just mesmerizing songs with soulful music.
Today this song is more nostalgic, when Sanjeev gone long ago, now Suchitra Sen too, now nearing 80, is not in good health. Recently she was hospitalised for breathing problems. Gradually these ETERNAL personalities are going away. Their work will remain to remind future generations that we had such fantastic persons amongst us.

yes your translation is right but I feel the true crux is not conveyed. Probably it is very difficult to translate a poetry of one language into other.

Anand, the line u mentioned means : this corner of the path goes to all types of heart... pathar ki haveli means someone who is tough or rude by heart... sheeshe ke gharondon mein means sum1 with soft heart.. teenkon ke nashemann tak.. means every heart...
so it means the road of love goes to all and touches everybody..
So the lady asks the man their sure must be a corner of this path of love which leads to your heart and i want to take it to reach you.
