God they're so boring to look at now. Compare this to Cicatriz at BDO 2004 where they were fucking insane. The performance here is just as good but they're barely moving. Cedric used to be the best frontman I had ever seen, now he's just a good singer.

I've been watching new Volta videos trying to give the new guy a chance, but I've been consistently disappointed. It's not that he's a BAD drummer, but he is nowhere near the level of Jon or Thomas. Pridgen was a world class drummer who could hang with the likes of Dennis Chambers (and very few in the world can do that), and Theodore was like a slightly-less-badass Billy Cobham (no disrespect to Theodore, he's still one of my all time favs). But this guy's no better than your average drummer.

im glad they playing their old stuff again,

when i saw them in New Jersey in 2008 they played a lot of bedlam which i wasnt fimilair with at the time lol
