you can't descramble shit. They have to connect cable to a pole line lol. If you want free cable and you live in a house look outside for a cable box and look where the line goes you have to climb up that pole and screw it in it's easy though do it at night on saturady like 4am. your welcome. in an apartment it's a locked box get a crow bar and bust it open and hook up EVERYBODY'S not just yours so they don't know who did it rinse and repeat lol.

Unless you live in the past (about 15 years ago) then this won't work. Cable companies use digital technology to scramble their signals, pretty much the same way Satellite TV companies do. Even if you have a backwoods cable company, this thing won't work. You've basically wasted time and money making this piece of crap wire. Trust me, I had descramblers years ago when they were popular, they are much more sophisticated.

ok i know how this works if you do it right when you order pay per view your box can't talk back to the cabel office the box will turn on the movie but it don't show up on the bill but the dsl filter has to go the right way if you do this only order one movie first and what to see if it shows up we use to back in the day is unplug the phone line on the old cable box and it worked but you can never plug it back in or it will send all of the data and you'll get a big bill i hope i helped

it only works for analog cable signals but since the us uses digital cable this wont work. the way it works is by descrambling the digital noise in the analog signal. but since the us uses digital cable the cable box has the channels that you are paying to view programed in ti.

Just order the cheapest cable modem, after the tech leaves, climb up the pole and remove the yellow filter screwed in between your cable and the aerial splitter like everyone else. If it is tight, make a tool by cutting the side out of a 5/8 socket with an angle grinder and epoxy it onto a screwdriver.

The way they keep you from getting or not getting channels is to add or remove blocking filters to the cable as it enters your home.. These type of filters were use most often just for hbo.

This will not work if your cable is disconnected outside your house,thats where the cable tech will hook it up,its usually inside a 'slambox' on your house which requiers a star key(ebay)or its connected to your powerline..In a couple of days Ill put up a video on how to really hook up the cable line.
