  • It would be good if you could preview every slice like on ReCycle, since you have to assign to pads to hear before readjusting.

Also, I was sure that I saw in some tutorial that you could drag audio from Logic into clip. I time stretched my loop and wanted to drag to clip, but this didn't work for me.

Also, one gripe is when it asks you to save slices. It wants you to save each individual part separately which is tedious and worse still, it won't move on unless you do.

  • I have a question. I bought BPM 1.5 and run it on Win 7. Every time I try to chop a sample in the clip view, BPM crashes. EVERY TIME! Motu support is non-existent so I wonder if you have encountered this problem, and if so, do you know a fix for it?

  • can that thing do everything what mpc do?...

  • Hey foodclothesshelter!

These are very informative videos and I find them very helpful. Would you consider doing similar videos concerning MOTU DP7's ProVerb, Leveler or other plug-ins?

  • good plugin good videos. I'm an ableton user wondering if I need BPM. but after watching this it seems as though I would be taking a step backwards since all the editing features you wish it had are already in ableton. although it might still be worth it just for the samples.

  • @Ureallydontknow You really don't need it with Ableton - it really has everything (and more + done better) that BPM has to offer, function-wise. Like you said, the multi-gigabyte library (and the included patterns maybe) might be worth considering, but then again...you can get a ton of samples for free and just build your own.

  • this programs cool so bad i cant find the 12 gigs of files in .wav on my browser

  • BPM seems cool. But I can do the same thing in Recycle. set chop points, manually or automatically, and then export to waves. Load em up on the mpc2500. Or use MPCMAID and drag the waves right to the pads I want, or auto map them, and export to a folder as a .PGM with the wave files to CF card and load right on the mpc.

I cant stand mouse editing to long. or being stuck in front of the pc. I like the mobility of the mpc, sittin on the couch with headphones, or in the lab, or at a friends. easy

  • nuttin can replace my shift jog wheel technique on the mv!!! mouse editing....

  • motu finally has an update ...it finally works in pro-tools 8.... how many bugs left who knows but im some what happy now!

  • great tutorial! im up to buy this, but im still checking sifferent applications....

    5*s peace (=

  • your BPM videos are the most informative that I have seen

  • thanx alot..plan to put some more jointz up soon.
