  • wats da price on that kit?

  • where does the remote charger plug in to? a cigerrete lighter?

  • Hey bro. This is the eve of day 1. Left the shop and everything was sweet. Drove home, no potholes or anything, but now the only thing that works on this is rainbow mode. All other modes simply flicker briefly then black out. I wonder what it is. Grrr...now I get to go back to the shop in the morning. Hope its just a loose wire or something. You ever experience such a thing?

  • I have a question! I have this kit and have had a ton of problems with the remote and got it replaced 4 times. I just got a new tube today (because my old tube got broke, piece of tire hit my right side tube and broke it). Now my left side since (I haven't had the kit for a few months while waiting for new tubes) when the unit is powered off some of my lights are still on!?!? Anyone know how to fix that?

  • Hey in your opinion which is better the Neon tubes or the Neon LED which i'm going to set it to blue only.

  • @Locbui1989 Depends what kind of glow you want. The neon will spread better and have a really simple install. The LEDs will give you patterns and a bit richer color, but won't have as good all-around glow, and is slightly more complicated to install.

Up to you which you like / want more.

  • @AkenIsCool thanks for the info bro

  • Did they fix these problems with the kit now?

  • I never sent it in for repair. It was basically a test kit meant mainly for this video and some other photos, so I wasn't concerned about getting it fixed. It worked well enough for its purpose.

  • nice vid man thank u for the show but do u think u can show a vid on how to install it in the interior and exterior. thx

  • These lights are really cool! Manufacturing quality is HORRIBLE! I had to take 1 tube a part and hit all the solders to get it to work right out of the box. Now I just had to glue all my buttons back on that fell off the remote. (there is a perforated rubber mat that covers the actual switches and the plastic buttons on top of the rubber mat fell off. Just put a dab of silicon on all the pieces and all is fine again) When it works they look great though!

  • how much was it?

  • i believe streetglow lists it at $329.99

  • does that problem with the solid-color mode only happen with red, or for all colors?

  • On this particular kit it only happened with a couple of the solid colors. Red and Yellow if I recall correctly. It shouldn't happen at all if the kit is working properly. Just a small factory problem it seems.

  • how do you hook it up so it lights up when you open the doors, and alarm.

  • I wouldn't recommend hooking this kit up that way, since it's designed to be turned on/off via remote control.

If you want something to flash when you open your doors or when the alarm goes off, add some extra LEDs that have a simple on/off function.

  • that would look tight under the pool table lol

  • Oddly enough, it wouldn't be the first undercar kit mounted under the table =P

  • overall is it a good product

  • Nice vid yet again guys. Not as funny as the ICE vids but ya know lol. DEF a manufacturing issue with the tubes not changing colors. I am a member on the SGF and at least 5 people have came back to report this same issue so its not just you guys having problems.
