  • how do you say Breathe in and Breathe out as in inhale then exhale in arabic...

lol im doing chest xrays and need to communicate this to my patient

  • @j12torts well inhale= shaheeq .. exhale= zafeer ... and now you are left with the real problem which is how to pronounce those words :P ..

I'll try to explain... let's see.. zafeer.. you pronounce "za-" as za- in the name "Zack"..

in shaheeq .. here it's just about the "a".. u need to pronounce it as the "a" in "habeeb".. and i think that should do it..

  • SUPER !!!!! : )

  • Hi Maha, well, Ma'lesh was one of those vital words we learnt when I was living in Saudi Arabia 30 years ago. It helped to dispel stress and frustration in difficult times. Naturally we also learnt bukrah (?) and insh'allah. As I have said before, it would have been nice to have had a proper Arabic teacher like yourself at that time as you make it fun and interesting. Best wishes.

  • معليششش يِ شيخه :D

  • Well Maha, I guess that boys will definitely learn it. Nice the symbolism related to feminine chest and getting comforted (...). If you show "ma3lysh" (...) and say "forgive me!" to your friend I guess he will definitely forgive you (...)! Loveliest regards :-)

  • wow im a huge fan of Oz too! you got that greeting from adebisi, right? assalam aleikum. oo man adebisi is the shit! i have tiny hat like him and it is very mega! but i didnt know there was internet in arabia :O and you dont have sheets on your head O,o world is changing, keep on rocking peace!

  • Shukran for this vid!!!!

  • please emigrate to the west

  • In Gulf area we dont say ma'lesh :)

  • @wawa2day Actually we say it A LOT here in the Gulf. :)

  • @wawa2day YES WE DO

  • @wawa2day

You are WRONG. In the Gulf we use Ma'lesh and also Ma'leah which is more common than the first word. I'm talking here about the Arabic tribes of Arabian Peninsula (the native people of the Gulf) . We use the word in our dialect.

  • @Sunflower21211 yeah you are right we say Ma'lesh alot in gulf region too

and yes the native Arab tribes have similar words to other northern Arab

but the one who aren't native they use a lot of Farsi and Hindi words

  • @wawa2day we say it also but in different way

  • @wawa2day

ههههههه لاتعمم ياصديقي .. نحن في الاقليم الشمالي في المملكة نقول " معليش " كا كلمة أعتذار رسمية ^__^

  • @wawa2day they do in Saudi Arabia, Hijaz region , Jeddah, Mecca, Medina. :) not in the Eastern part of the Arabian peninsula though , you are right.

  • I am always happy just to see you but also, thank you for educating me.

  • please, please more arabic learning :) u are so great

  • haha your T-Shirt <3

  • I HAVE A MA'LESH T-SHIRT TOO!!!

  • I would equate Ma3lesh then with, "aw, nevermind, you're OK". Love how the Arabs put so much meaning into one small word instead of needing several like English-speakers do. Efficiency!

  • Ma'lesh stop being hotttttttt .... damn u look so adorable and highly educated :)

keep up with the good work

  • ;) thank u

  • معليش ؟!!

    ههههههههههه أصلاً الغرب مايقدر ينطق حرف الــ " خ , ح , ع , ظ , ط , ص .ض , غ " ككككك

شكراً مها وننتظر دروس الإتاليانوا ^________^

  • Ma'lesh :)

  • You're Great as Always! :)
