@iiOmNomNom I would use Butter,, when you go to melt your butter for the recipe,,, melt a little bit extra,,, then take a pastry brush ( Looks like a paint brush) and coat the sides of the pan,, if you dont have a brush,, you can use a piece of paper towel,, just make sure the butter isnt to hot so you don't burn your hand!! :)

@GlamorousLifeofB I love to make homemade dough,, Do you make dough? I got to thinking about this,,, I wonder if a sweet dough bread recipe would work. Thats to bad that dont sell it,, my Son loves this,,, I dont always have time to make dough from scratch so this saves me tons of time. Do they sell Pillsbury products? I wonder if you wrote them,,,asking them to sell it? :)

I love monkey bread ... alas, do not bake, even easy stuff - unless already prepared and frozen, like raspberry turnovers.

Anyone who bakes from scratch has my complete admiration. My aunts were bakers and everything they made was from scratch and DEEEEElicious. I miss them and their food.

@Ivonikuss Good morning. I actually do make homemade dough. I have several videos showing how to make Homemade pizza, focaccia & Italian bread. I love to bake. Making dough can take several hours from start to finish,, there's nothing like the smell of bread baking. I'm a busy lady/Mom. Every now & then I make this very quick Monkey bread for my Son. I believe in a healthy balance,, sometimes pre-made dough frees me up to spend more quality time with my family. Enjoy your day ;)

@NaturesFairy It's just strange for me, we don't have pre-made dough in Serbia. I presume it's easier to just go and buy it, but when I'm looking for recipe, it just bugged me, a lot of things are really just available in USA... But, what a hell... we do like to complicate our lives here in Serbia, and we tend to get traditional... even I cook like my grandmother use to do, and it very commendable too... Enjoy your too...

@Ivonikuss I can understand how it seems strange that we have pre-made dough. I think its wonderful that your keeping with family traditions by cooking/baking what your Grandma did. I too have some very special recipes from my Grandmothers. I truly enjoy making homemade dough. Hopefully you can find some recipes. All my best to you!

Yummy! my grandma use to make this for us when we were kids I think she made the dough from scratch and rolled it in little balls. I always have known it as monkey balls its very good fresh and warm I remeber it always being gooey and sticky but that was the best part as a kid thankyou for sharing it brang back great memories of my gram!,hugs
