I have to disagree on that. They said they were ending the show while it was still the top rated show so they wouldnt burn it out. They were still on the top charts when it went off air. I believe you can still find the ratings on line from 1999.

melrose died in season 5 caused by sydney and kimberly. even amanda couldnt stop it from sinking... :(

heather adn kack has perfect chemistry. i hear they are together in real life. heather will show up on the new melrose sometime in nov. the 10th of novem ber but i am not sure.

what a boring endings!! even the last episode of the season wasn't anything brilliant, the only good thing is that they brought back Jane.

I love MP but this season was the worst by far. Even the usually brilliant episode enders were lazily done, there was about 10 where they just had people kissing or having sex although Taylor's "I want your sperm" ender was classic.

This season was so difficult to watch with the absurd stories and suicides and relationship failures. Lexi/Sam/Craig/Coop/Jennifer/C­hristine were all terrible, Amanda/Kyle relationship was dumb as well as her marriage to that random guy, and we lost Matt/Alison/Jane/Sydney/Kimber­ly/Jake at the end of season 5. Season 6 randomly ended early and then they got rid of the bad characters for season 7 and improved Lexi's character 100% and brought Jane back.

I think season 6 is not as good as the previous seasons where all the greatest characters appeared. In seson six taylor is the greatest (but just in my opinion).

When I watched this season for the first time I thought it was bad because all the main characters left the show... But now, I have watched it again and it isn't that bad. THE PROBLEM??Too many things happen to Amanda in just one season... She's broke, helicopter accident, paralaytic, get married three times, one of her husbands try to kill her, kidnapped... BUFF...unbelievable!!

Amanda is portrayed too much as a ''Erica Kane''. The damsel who's always in distress. that's what happened when Melrose Place started running out of ideas in seasons 5-7
