Yes German and of course this was TV, had he sung it in the opera house in the role complete it may have been done slightly differently. It's interesting to follow the sound of a fine voice through a career. I heard Shicoff in house the 1970's when he was barely 30 years old and many more times over 30 years and heard the voice mature and grow. For me that was a once in a life time experience. When I first heard Tucker he was in his prime at 47 in 1961, Fantastic! That made me a tenor fan!
Beautiful lyric tenor. Kind of does his own thing at 5:40 and 5:50 in "Una" but I would like to hear him in the house rather than on studio recordings. He sings well and if he stays in his own rep. He will last. Boheme in the 3rd act is tough, a true test and the met is a big house. Good luck! His reading of the aria reminds me a little of the style of Tagliavini more than the voice of Tagliavini--- Bravo!

You caught the final "d'amore". Excellent videographer, I finally got to hear the last word. Thank you.

the way he sings, it seems like he is not really relaxed?

Was he a bit rushed through the end of the song (by GMA)? I have listened to this song on his new album dozens of times. It's simply magical!

FACT: If he took my hand and sang "Che Gelida Manina" to me like that, I would have cried on the spot.

He did a good job in the Boheme from the met. Even with slow cond. it was well done!

Truly gorgeous voice, and very musical, but he's not lasting 10 years singing with that technique!
