For a man who can't read sheet music and never took a formal guitar lesson, he's flawless. Absolute genius. And one of the world's greats. And the ten YouTubers who disliked this video can "go back" and stay there.
The man is one of the best guitar players in the world. And Stevie Nicks is a great singer. In the 70s she had so much power on stage and much better looks Than Rihanna and Katy Perry together!
This was beautiful Lindsey. Thank you so much for creating this song. If only I had the talent you and my brother have, but as it is I still get to love music if only from afar.
@ADDmunky You are certainly wiser than I look :D I play fingerstyle guitar, it took me a few days to figure out how to shred on an electric, it took me months to figure out how to play this - and sing it at the same time.. He is, as you say, very underrated
@Zeppelinfan25 I agree so much, when people get to talking about the best guitarists no one ever says Lindsay Buckingham and when I do they're like WHO? It makes me so mad that so many people dont know who Lindsay even is.
ptij0404, thruth is that that band - in all of its dysfunctional permutations - was / is nothing without Stevie Nicks. She had plenty to bring to the table herself. Who else can bang a tamborine, sing like she does and STILL manage not to tangle the hem of her dresses in her fabulous heels. ;)
4:05 As he started talking about the next song, which was written after Lindsay had left FM, the look he gave Stevie was priceless. The reason being that Mick Fleetwood told about how he did want to tour to promote "Tango In The Night" and in the ensuing argument Lindsay quit the band and left. Stevie Nicks followed him outside to his car taunting him and he nearly choked her to death.
Habe das Lied 1984 auf einem US-Highway fahrend das erste Mal gehört, seither ist es mein absoluter Lieblingssong! Lindsey und Stevie sind schlicht phänomenal!
One if not the best acoustic guitarist in the world! Would love to hear him on a 12 string Ovation. You are great Lindsey.Love your work. Roll Tide!!!!

@karbill70443 They've spent the last 20 years going back and forth between hatred and barely tolerating each other. They could hardly be in the same room together until just a few years ago. Apparently, they've finally moved on and become happy in each others' presence again.
@karbill70443 Plus, this is one of the *many* songs that one has written for the other in direct connection to their loss of love. She's not terribly in love with this song, I'm thinking.
I love the comment about how phsychologically disturbed the majority of women are...sounds like youve been with a lot of crazy chicks, I wonder what youre doing wrong
I like how in the first few choruses he'd 'been down' two tmes, then by the end of the song he'd been down three times. It's kind of like "I'm never going back again...okay, yes I am, but the third time is the last time..."
