I think SNK wanted to use its own unique style to homage One Piece. Remember SNK is a japanese company who is famous for citing Anime and Manga among a lot of other things in its works, and OP is very popular in japan, epecially nowadays. Just my two cents, anyway. -leona rebel spark finishing pose = kamen rider black rx sword finishing pose

-yuri (2001)can do the raging demon like akuma (sf) , tatsumaki senpuu kyaku,shin shoryuken, even metsu hadouken (kof2003)

-athena (xi) ldm = milla rage dm (guilty gear)

-ash = remy (sf 3) charging type, green projectile , both of 'em from france ^^

-angel 2002 um HSDM = the rock people's elbow anyone? ^^
