I don't think most of those trucks were going to be scrapped. Exported or remove the bodies to sold cabs and frames. Most all of them were probley still road able and a farmer would buy them with out a second thought. Did the company go under and these trucks are just parked?

i dont know if its the case with these macks but i have a ih loadstar and its almost inmopisble to get parts for it thats why so many old trucks are sitting, but these look to be way newer and in good shape

you know what..the large truck manufactures need to stop building new trucks, because theres a lot of older trucks that could use a good home,and back to work

the diamond reo's both have 671 detroits w quadbox, we sold the other cabover and that had the 440 v8, alot of those did not get scrapped, because after we started hauling it to the scrapyard, scrap prices went down, I Know because ive worked here since 2008, thanks for the appreciation for our old macks, the red tandem has a 350 mack and its for sale the # of company is on door of trucks, located in Meadville Pennsylvania, 814-724-1600, u didnt get that from me, like i said its on the doors

Those Superliners will be worth a few bucks in years to come specially if they got the E9 V8 under the hood. Doesn't look like too much construction going on at the moment where you live.
