Vatenan was far more "ragged" on tarmac, he either won or lost rallies, I never seen or heard of Simon crashing.

As for the driving taking ball, to a guy like this who obvioulsy has pretty good car control driving a piece of road you know like this isnt actually that difficult-ask him!

What i was saying is , he could better his times drastically by being tidier. There are corners which you need to be sideways to be quick but he is over doing it and not getting the time he could have.

This style is also loosing time coming into corners..

He is setting the car up for the next corner using a technique called the scandenavian flick.

Also with hillclimbing the driver is not concerned about tire wear as they will be changed between stages.
